| I just finished watching Neo Ranga, I picked it up because I really like the character designs in all the promotional material, I've always been a fan of that look. But man, was this show massive bait. The characters don't show up a single time the way they are presented in the promotional posters (outside of the OPs and EDs), they are 90% of the time just dressed like normal anime schoolgirls. So here I am, still hoping to get that itch scratched, and seeing if anyone else can recommend any series with characters that have that tribal tattoo/dress look. |

| Kudos for an interesting thread, unfortunately I don't think I have any slam dunk suggestions. -Golden Kamuy heavily features the Ainu but their aesthetic is very different from the Neo Ranga pictures. -Shin-ah from Akatsuki no Yona has kind of a tribal design. -I haven't watched Taiyou no Ko Esteban yet. Maybe it has something of interest to you, maybe not. |
