You're more likely to find spy/hitmen disguised as a hostess+ or revenge stories like for example:

Mardock Scramble first compression
a Kite (this is adult stuff, so read the synopsis and make sure you get a version that is legal in your country)

there is a romance with a prostitute in Dororo, but she's not the mc

Sadly, that's true. Though Mardock Scramble does indeed have a manga - however I have only seen the movie, so I can't recommend a manga I haven't read, right? Also a kite definitely has romance.
