Coincidence? (anime watcher spoilers)

Anyone find it coincidence that episode 1 is the prologue to the show and is movie size and now in the manga,

edit 1: It is prob coincidence tbf as doing Ai's life cannot be multiple episodes or it places less emphasis on the revenge theme and they can't rlly condense 20 chapters worth in a 20min episode

I find it very interesting (or curious, at least) that it have that passage talking about it being a fictional work...even though it gave a trigger to start talking about lies and that stuff, because we see this normally in books and especially movies, I think it's a great theory, I'll pay more attention to these details.

wait a minute what if the interview that Ai and the director did in the firsts chapters were about the anime 😳
it kinda make sense since we're seeing everything threw Aqua perspective
but we only saw his dad in chapter 110 ( I think) but your theory make sense

I don't think it is since akasaka also did such things with kaguya but in its op or ed but this time he doing it this way.

It is definitely a coincidence.
There's no way Aqua would explain about his death as Gorou and reincarnation on a movie, unlike the first episode of the series.
