The first one I ever watched was Sailor Moon. The first two I tried to commit too was Nurse Witch Kogami R and Pokemon. And the first one I actually committed too was The Promised Neverland.

My first anime was pokemon or digimon, I like monster... God I wish I could be a monster, I'd walk around Tokyo, maybe knock down a few buildings... that'd be the life. Later on in my life I got into REAL anime with I think Full Metal Alchemist, I liked the episode they created the thing. Thank you for reading my post <3 <3 <3

I believe my first anime was either Dragon Ball or Naruto, but at the time I thought they were just normal cartoons so I didn't really think anything of it. My first conscious anime experience was Sword Art Online which I still enjoy watching (the first 15 episodes) these days.

I still consider it to be the original Star Blazers even if it was the Americanized version. First uncut/unedited might have been Project A-ko or some random eps of Ranma 1/2. Pretty sure the first complete series I owned on VHS was Slayers or possibly Magic Knight Rayearth. First DVD I bought was Outlaw Star.

My first anime I watched was Naruto! I was 11 years old, and my next door neighbor who was the same age as me was obsessed with Naruto at the time. At the time I didn't have a taste for it, but when I was 13 I gave it another shot and I was immediately hooked. I remember staying up soooo late into the night just trying to watch episode after episode. I think I watched nearly the entire first season including all the filler episodes before I wanted to watch more anime!

Ponyo. Every year in elementary school, the art teacher would turn it on for us to watch while we finished our last projects for the year. We never finished it though, only ever reached the part where she's running on top of the whales. Had to find it at home to see how it ended.

When I was aware that it was an anime - Sora no Otoshimono. Ecchi. I had no idea what I signed up for xp

But before that, I was a big, BIG fan of the Bakugan series. Like, honestly, I was sooo obsessed ^^""

When I was 8 a nearby university's Japanese class had a cultural night where they showed an undubbed, unsubbed version of My Neighbor Totoro. Even without that I loved the story and it was really what got me into anime as a genre and Japanese culture as a whole.
Not a lot to look forward to, but you gotta keep at it! Maybe if you believe enough you can convince yourself there is! I believe in you so you should too!!! ^o^

I think Pokemon would be most people's first anime but they didn't know it. I guess I can say the same about Kiki's Delivery Service. The first anime I watched whilst knowing it was one would be One Punch Man. I'd recently gotten access to Netflix and the normal shows didn't interest me so I just went with it. After that, the entirety of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

its quite complicated. When i started watching anime in general my first was your lie in april, (starting strong ik) but i had actually seen the first two seasons of mha a year ago in netflix. Now the most confusing is how my oldest sister watched when i was a toddler since we have 9 years age gap, and i watched some naruto with her even if i didnt understand what they were saying i knew the story. i had watched with her plenty anime movies like the moving castle etc and in tv it played pokemon and other similar anime and my other sister says i have seen hunter x hunter and noragami when i was a toddler too on my own i dont know why or how lol

edit: i realised how Pucca and Hello kitty are considered anime as well tho i do not think so, i know pucca is korean actually and im not sure about hello kitty but if you count them i had an obsession with both young and still love them
