| I still consider it to be the original Star Blazers even if it was the Americanized version. First uncut/unedited might have been Project A-ko or some random eps of Ranma 1/2. Pretty sure the first complete series I owned on VHS was Slayers or possibly Magic Knight Rayearth. First DVD I bought was Outlaw Star. |

| My first anime I watched was Naruto! I was 11 years old, and my next door neighbor who was the same age as me was obsessed with Naruto at the time. At the time I didn't have a taste for it, but when I was 13 I gave it another shot and I was immediately hooked. I remember staying up soooo late into the night just trying to watch episode after episode. I think I watched nearly the entire first season including all the filler episodes before I wanted to watch more anime! |

| Ponyo. Every year in elementary school, the art teacher would turn it on for us to watch while we finished our last projects for the year. We never finished it though, only ever reached the part where she's running on top of the whales. Had to find it at home to see how it ended. |

| When I was 8 a nearby university's Japanese class had a cultural night where they showed an undubbed, unsubbed version of My Neighbor Totoro. Even without that I loved the story and it was really what got me into anime as a genre and Japanese culture as a whole. |
