Welcome to the Anime/Manga Character Face-Off!  What is the Anime/Manga Character Face-Off? It's a game. Forum members will nominate characters from anime and manga from specific categories, up to 16 in each different category. The characters will then face off in a bracket style format, voted by forum members. Each match is to 8 votes to determine a winner, except for the Final Round which is to 12 votes. How To Play: 1.) For each category, there will be nominations held and anyone is allowed any character as long as the character suits the category. There will be 16 nominees each category but there may be some occasional exceptions. Please color or bold your nomination. Example: Satoru Gojo [Jujutsu Kaisen] - Nominated by 54bubbles To start off with, each player will only be allowed to nominate 1 nominee. However, AFTER 12 HOURS of the very first nomination, 2nd nominations will open and in some cases, 3rd nominations will open up after 24 hours. 2.) The characters will then face off in a bracket style format, voted by forum members. 3.) Each match is to 8 votes to determine a winner, except for the Final Round which will be up to 12 votes. 4.) Each forum member is allowed ONE vote per match and each match will last 12 hours, in case of a slow voting time. If the 12 hour time limit is met and the two characters are tied, the character who got to the tying vote first wins. (Finals will last 18 hours.) 5.) New voters may enter at any time during the tournament process. Any participant may enter a nominee during the nomination period. General Character Rules: 1.) Previous nominations may be nominated again as long as they haven't won any categories in the current 1-80 rounds. (list below) 1a.) Any category marked with a ⚔ means you can nominate anyone. There are no restrictions and every character is fair game. 1b.) Categories marked with a ✪ indicate a repeated category. Only the character who won 1st the previous time is ineligible. 2.) The maximum of characters that can be nominated from a single anime/manga is 4. Rules: 1.) Please try and Bold who you are voting for. 2.) If you are the first to nominate in a category, please add the category in which you are voting for. 3.) Campaigning with pictures/gifs or a short summary is perfectly acceptable. However, use your best judgement on when to use the spoiler tag. DON'T SPAM 4.) The only people allowed to start a new round for the game and determine winners with the final say are the Game-Master(s) & Game Co-Master(s).
