He is of high school age. Ishizaki also says that he does speak Japanese, and has done so before. That being said, Albert has not spoke an actual line of Japanese dialogue as of volume 11 (where I am at). As for their physical appearances, just chalk it up to fiction being fictional (except Katsuragi’s lack of hair).

The anime pretty much skipped the details about how and why the students get admitted to this school. It doesn't even have anything to do with academics

I think there is so many detail can't explain in the anime because lack of duration
But we know that this anime get the 3rd season and sometime they explain the detail in different way
But if that's not really important to the story i don't think they will include it just like why katsuragi is bald

The only one more ridiculous is Katsuragi the muscular bald Japanese guy because they're not even trying to pass him off as some paid bodyguard that a rich kid brought to school but as a legitimate 15 year old student.

No bro albert is pretty good char he will do amything for his comrades,He even has his own hobby of collecting different countries flag in his room which is revealed in ln.
Ryuen is pretty strong too,But thats not the reason y everyone obeys him,Its because he is so aggressive and will go to any extent to get what he wants.He didnt even consider others as threats other than ayanokouji and arisu.
Even ayonokouji said once ichinose and katsuragi is not a prob but ryuen will try to with everything he have.ryuen even wins in that vip task from the ship.
