Since quite a few months passed after finale of season 2, are there any news/hints about season 3? Season 2 was announced immidietly after Season 1 ended so does this mean its unlikely that we will get season 3?

I mean, s2 was more of a 2nd cour than a 2nd season, it was just named that way but the production plans were there from the start. I remember reading that komi-san will have an important annoucement around summer or fall, dunno if it’s just a rumor but s3 most likely will happen I think.

There has to be a season three! They can't just blue ball me with that quick, blink and you'll miss it, cameo of Rumiko at the end of the season finale and then just end the anime without adapting komi's friendship with her.

I believe there will be one. Because after all the manga is still long, like you have 2nd and 3rd years content to be animated

I think most likely we'll get a season 3.... the last episode of season 2, we got a sneak peek of Manbagi-san and Shibuki Ase
