Question about the LN (SPOILERS ALERT)

So, this series have been a blast for me and i was really sad to know that Sword art Online had ended 2 years ago, or did it? So, i have a question, for those that have read the LN, does the story continue with new adventures or did it really end?

Aside from the progressive arc, please tell me that its not finished yet

it's not, sao is far from finished, I believe after the progressive, they will launch the next season.

Well u don’t need to me to say this but I am very confident they will continue SAO. I also predict we might get a part 2 of the progressive arc or even more which might actually be really cool. I was really impressed with the movie and thought they did a great job with the writing and everything. It’s living proof of how much they actually f*cked over Asuna’s character in the later seasons/parts of SAO.

There are 8 More volumes after the end of SAO Alicization, 2 being Moon Cradle which is the story of 200 years in Underworld but only covers of few days, 1 Side Story which is linked with Aincrad, ALO & Mother Rosario whilst another being the next big arc Unital Ring which has 5 volumes published so far and Sixth on its way on October 7.

Also another interesting thing is, Reki Kawahara said that SAO is far from over and will be writing for another 10 years, also he said that Unital Ring is not the last arc in Sword Art Online.

Anime will return as soon as the UR arc is finished. As for now they are covering the void by adapting Progressive.

Lol, Alicization is still the biggest arc till now expanding over 9volumes from volume 10-18. Although the anime covered it in 47eps which isn't bad, but it could've expanded to something like 55 imo.

Rejoice bro, SAO doesn't end here, it'll take time for the main series to end.

°Volume 19 & 20 covers MOON'S CRADLE (side story).
°Volume 21,23-present is covering UNITAL RING (direct sequel of Alicization).
°Volume 22 is also composed of a few side stories, including how the Sleeping Knights were formed(Yuuki's guild in Mother's Rosario arc) named KISS & FLY.

You should start buying the LNs, my first SAO LN was MOON CRADLE ARC volume 19 then 20,21(Unital Ring 1st vol) then i started Progressive and finally main series from the beginning.

WISHED I COULD ALSO GET TRANSPORTED TO A WORLD FULL OF MAGIC And DUNGEONS, please take me there too if you could (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡
