Which Guardian/Bad Guy is the Hottest and your Favorite?
| This thread is ONLY for the "Angelique" Animes/OVA's/Manga. Please put all spoilers in spoiler tabs, Thanks! I also really enjoyed all of the Angelique Series and OVA's, mostly because of all the hotties in them XD. Though I was disappointed with the endings to almost all of them. I mean the so called "Queen" cannot end up with anyone because she has to protect the world wtf o.0. Currently I'm reading the manga, hopefully the ending for the original Angelique OVA is different in the manga. But over all it's a great work of art and story. |

| no actually it's good, just the ending if you want it to end romantically then it's a bit disappointing, cuz apparently "The Queen" can't be with any of the Guardians =( but who really cares lol all we wanna see is the hot guys (at least i do) XD |

| It's hard to choose between Hyuga and Erenfried because they are both by my fav. seiyuus (Daisuke Ono and Miyu Irino). I actually watched Neo Angelique Abyss series first then one of the older OVA (Angelique: White Wing Memoirs). I chose Erenfried because he's a nice bad guy. I agree about "The Queen" cannot be with any of the guardians |

| I just wanted to know where you guys watched the last 2 series/OVA's?. Also am i just being confused OR when there's a new queen doesn't the old one retire. I wonder if she can be with one of the guardians then. Though i think each series is about a different world so maybe not. ^^" |

| I hope if its okay if talk about Neo Abyss here. I watched the Angelique OVA's first, and didn't really understand them, at the time to really talk about them. I just finished the first season of Abyss tonight, so I'll post here what I thought about it. *If its not okay, to post here, just delete my post ^^* First off I must say, that I prefer this series to the first Angelique which is much older. Probably because, I watched the ova's first, rather than the series itself. That and the art is much older, but not awful to say the least. However with Abyss, the art was amazing and the characters had so many commendable personalities, that it was hard to choose a favorite. Though I'd have to say out of the four Aube hunters, Hyuuga is defiantly my favorite. If I listed my reasons, the post would be far too long. So lets just leave it at, I'm a sucker for long haired, quiet, protective types. Anyways I also have to state that I liked Angelique, I'm not sure if I could rank her with the usual shoujo heroine. She was extremely kind, not at all whiny, and all around concerned for the people around her. Although she had some qualities of typical shoujo heroine's, it wasn't to the point where it outshone her positive qualities. I'm very much looking forward to the second season, which I'm hoping for it to be at least on par with the first season. If not just a little better, especially after leaving the first season at such a big cliffy. As far as the poll goes Clavis got my vote! Edit: Oh darn. I didn't see Hyuga on the list. He would have gotten my vote, if I'd took notice. |

| Yes its okay to talk about Neo Angelique here. This thread is for all Angelique related animes, OVA's and manga. =) I watched the first and second season of Neo Angelique some months ago and i have to say it was quite interesting. I wouldn't say that the original Angelique was bad compared to this one because they both had a good story/plot. Though i agree with Yoru, the art was older but not in a bad way. I for one had my share of favorite guys from each "Angelique" series, since they were all different in both looks and personality. But the one i voted for and the one i think stands out is Oscar. Why, again i could (like Yuro also said) make whole list but to keep it short i would say its because of his flirtatious and carefree attitude. I love his personality/looks and i believe he was more like a prince to her than the others. Also i agree, every Angelique in her respective anime/OVA was a pretty good heroine. Not too whiny or depending on others. I think it takes quite a lot of courage to become a "Queen". Knowing that you will be locked up in a room (practically) and the only thing you do is protect the world. I even felt bad for some of them as they did have feelings for one of their Guardians yet couldn't be with them. |

| I only watched one of the OVA so far but I'm currently downloading Neo Angelique's second season...though I don'T know why the second since I didn't see the first.:D Anyway I liked the OVA it was really interesting, though I felt that the ending was rushed and nothing important happened. I mean I know it's just an OVA and it was just 3 episodes, but the story itself went in a slow but good phase until it just simply ended. I was a bit dissapointed in that, but I was at least happy that I found a place where I could download the OVA...xD As for the Guardians...I liked the metal guy a lot, he was cute, however in my case it's Oscar too who won my vote.:D THe other guardians while nice, but they were all pretty strange and I couldn't cope with most of their personalities especially that dream guardian travie.:D |

| I agree the ending was rushed, but even if it had continued i doubt she would have ended up with anyone. Lol yea some of them are weird but by the dream Guardian don't you mean Olivie ^^". I read the recent chapters and he got mad at her for not looking pretty and taking care of herself. He's more like her girlfriend than a manly Guardian. 0.o |

| Wuuh I don't really know which was him...I guess it's Olivie then. He is reeeally strange. And I guess it's totally in his character to get mad about something like that. Well yeah I also had the same feeling. He is rather a girl then a man.xD THat's why I said that he is just a simple transfestite. :D Yeah I thought that she can't get together with any of them, if she becomes queen cause the queen mustn't have a relationship with her guardians. At least that's what I heard. And this is a shame. |

| True and i guess you kinda need a womanly man in the group, it makes the female lead a bit comfortable i think. Though i don't know why but there seems to be at least one transvestite in almost every big reverse harem groups. o.0 Yea and that's why i was wondering, what if she retires like the previous Queen, can she be with one of the guardians then. Though maybe not since they too have to move on and become guardians of the new queen. =( |

| Why can't the guardians retire?:D I would totally go for one of them even if I were the queen. Cause since I'm the Queen and I have the ultimate power I would order freedom for myself the Queen. I would do my duty, but surely wouldn't want to encage myself somewhere... As for Neo Abyss I'm watching the 2nd season which is also pretty good. THe only thing that bothers me is Angelique's whiny voice. Every time I hear her talk a shiver runs down my spine. She is a good character why give her a voice like that? Also I have to agree with Yoru! Hyuuga is cool! I loved the part when he was fighting against his seasikness.:) That was when his cool mask broke a little, but that's also the reason why I like him more and more.:D I thought before starting the story that Rayne loves Angelique, or at least he has some kind of feelings for her, but it doesn't seem so. He is jsut the same like the others, protecting her but nothing more. And finally |

I also liked Hyuuga from Neo Angelique, but i liked (forgot his name) the guy who was the king's advisor or something, the one with the long hair who takes care of the youngest guardian, even more. Anyways i also thought Rayne liked her, but then again they all kinda do though its more out of respect than a romantic feeling. Overall they should make a 3rd season of Neo Angelique, because the ending seemed like a cliffhanger. |

| Hmm well but as much as I saw the Queen doesn't age either. So even if she finished ruling (though again I don't understand that if she doesn't age why should she leave her post...I guess it's too boring to be the Queen for that long.xD) she would be still compatible with the guardians, cause I also think that they don't age, but maybe we are mistaken. I loved that long blue haired guy too!! That's why it was such a shock when I saw him Maybe I'm asking for too much but again I would be just too happy to see more romance int his story!! I guess I'm really in the mood for something extra romantic.xD |

| Does she, cuz i believe the queen was quite older and looked like she was about the age of Angelique's mother. And when she became the queen, I'm pretty sure she was Angelique's age to begin with. So maybe they do age but really slowly. And yea its a waste of life to be staying in that room and watching over others/protecting the world. What do the poor queens get out of doing all that. I wonder why any girl would even want to be a queen, if that's how she lives. Oh yea that guy who "dellik" the elder, for some reason he is hotter than all of the Neo Guardians and reminds me of someone from SM. I also think he is a nice guy and he had his reasons for doing those things. Though in a bad guy view, he doesn't even compare to the good guardian turned bad, Nyx. I also want to see more romance but the closest romance I've seen in all the Angelique series/OVA's is between Oscar and the first Angelique and also between the brown haired Angelique and the bad/good guy Arios. |
