Water 7 vs Enies Lobby!!!

Out of these two, which is the best arc!
I think enies lobby will win, but I want to see how many people think water 7>enies lobby.
I'm obviously picking enies lobby.

I just think of them as the same arc, but obviously it gets much better once they enter Enies Lobby. Who have you heard say that water 7 is better?

Obviously enies lobby it's one of my most favourite arcs in the anime

Normally I wouldn't seperate them and I'm also a bit torn, but I eventually voted for Wayer 7 because it's better written.

Better written like for example everyone who's up to date and thinks some or a lot of powers are a**pulls (like Gear 5, Zoros,etc.) should realize that actually every or almost every power up from Ennies Lobby is totally a a**pull with that logic.

Zoros Ashura, Sanjis Diable Jambe, partly/arguably Gear 2/3 (atleast Luffy had a bit time to enhance his power/fighting power after what happend the first time against the CP9, he even said so himself),etc.

And that's probably only one of the things why Water 7 is arguably objectively better written.

But like I said in the beginning normally it would be difficult to decide between both arcs. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคท‍โ™€๏ธ

I think of them as the arc.

Anyway, I choose Water 7, without a doubt. The conflict between Luffy and Usopp, the mystery around the carpenters, the Robin's dilemma...

Ennies Lobby has some of the most epic scenes from One Piece (you all know what I'm talking about) but the battles I like the less in the whole show.

Water 7 is overall better written I think, Enies Lobby is super hype and has amazing moments and they’re both 10/10, but Water 7 has some of the best character writing and dialogue. The scene where Usopp and Luffy argue is the best written dialogue in the entire series, the way Franky is portrayed throughout the arc is really interesting, and there were so many memorable characters introduced

These two added together felt like one arc together, hence, it felt long for me. But I enjoyed it.

Tbh both are my favorite post-timeskip arcs in One Piece. But I do think Water 7 lacks a little with it's flashbacks because the only that's good is the Robin one. Enies Lobby is a really great arc in terms of action and fights and that kinda stuff. Also it has some of the great characters' return like Buggy and Bon Clay. Another problem with this arc that it was so tall in the anime so I read that part of the manga instead.

Water 7 is pretty much right there behind it. It’s a god damn great buildup arc basically building up to enies lobby, that’s why lobby is so good.

I consider them to be one arc, with Enies Lobby simply being the middle part of the arc. Obviously the Enies Lobby chapters/episodes have more going on, though.

Water 7 had better starting point (the Aokiji confrontation) and had unique build up with amazing mystery & revelations for its climax at the end of it, while enies lobby suffered from the sudden power ups for the main characters that were never talked about before and some plot Armors here and there but was great for the needed character development of Robin and her flashback, other that its starting point was cartounish af at that water train and the whole king of the sea thing which was cringe and ruined the tension of the battles, not to mention the forced drama of going merry which is a plot hole itself but I guess people like to cry over anything in one piece so whatever
So technically water 7 is better, but since enies lobby was the conclusion of it with having hyped fights and emotional moments , that made people think that It's better while it's definitely not
