Why are they all so over-emotional? [Could contain spoilers for S2 and S3]

Plus also, both the girls have suffered emotionally in the past. Yui and yukino themselves weren't aware of what's happening untill hachiman made his move. And even after that, the other boys had completely wrong idea. They don't know what actually happened there. Lemme break it down. The girl didn't want any relationship but she was aware of the guy trying to propose. Hayama and the girl didn't want to make it awkward between their group since after rejection that's what usually happens. It'll most likely break the group. So hayama approached hachiman to stop that from happening. Now, the other guys think the gurl has no idea about the guy trying to propose. So when hachiman proposed in advance as got the answer"I don't want any relationship right now", they thought like "thank god, if we were rejected it'd have been an awkward situation, thank god she didn't knew we were trying to". So naturally, things go smoothly from their side without it being awkward. And they'd assume that since the girl doesn't know about them trying to propose, it won't be awkward from her side either. Now the girl knows they think like that and thinks that's for the better since it'll no longer complicate things as long as there is something that'll restrain them. Now, behind all this were hayama, hachiman and the girl. Three people with complete grasp on what's happening. The girl played the master game alongside hachiman through hayama. Now the main point to why they reacted that way is, the fact that hachiman, despite helping people or should I say being used, is taking the insulting position always. Back at the school fest, he made hayama hero by making himself look like an asshole so that it'll help the then girl, hayama and school. And now he looked like a stupid mf who doesn't even know that girl but straight up proposed and got rejected. He would've been looked at Like he was in middle school. And the fact that the whole class hates hachiman already doesn't help it. And this is something that is genuinely hurting Yui and yukino since hachiman even though willingly, is being used and then insulted. Adding to that, hachiman even proposed the idea of becoming the guy who'll participate in school prez elections and take the humiliation of not getting votes at all just to make Iroha the president. That's why Yui and Yukino were genuinely concerned and got hurt by hachimans actions. Ever since that incident, their conversations Haven't been going normally. They were being complete strangers in the same room. Yui was desperately trying to take the things back to the normal. But it's not working. All that remained were three people, crippling relationships. And after sensei showed him what he should do after the ride, hachiman started realising what kind of thing he want. Not the three strangers in one room. But something genuine. A genuine relationship with Yui and Yukino. This was the first time Hachiman felt what it's like to stay in a true friendship. the crying still feels like too much tho. If they wanted it to atleast make sense they should've given more depth to their relationship but sadly there wasn't any such thing. And the entire thing just looks like Hachiman just tried to commit suicide, then the crying would make sense. The dialogues and the facial expressions during these moments feels cheesy and overdone too. I .ean of they just walked off without saying anything it would have been insanely better

Out of the massive amount of romance/slice of life anime i’ve watched it ranks amongst the bottom. I don’t remember what i rated it but now i’ve realised it’s just alright and i cba changing it now.
