I just think making the 1st half of season 2 this will make me disappointed at the lack of content. Its great for people who didn't get to watch but it isn't great for the fans. It is just my opinion but I want this arc not to be reused at all and its one of the only canon shounen movies we will get ever. (I know its a rumor and I could be wrong lol)

It would be a real shot in the foot considering the movie is streaming already on Funimation.

Well it is listed the train arc for the 2nd season, but I think it's because they didn't adapt the last part in the movie, is when Tanjiro goes to Rengoku's house after the battle.

Isn’t the name of the next season called “The Entertainment District Arc”? If anything it’ll start with a recap of the movie in like 2 mins or something. I’m guessing it’ll pick up immediately after the movie with a very small overlap just like they did with the first season and the movie. I don’t think it’s going to pull a Dragonball Super on us.

I deeply hope you are correct and I am just assuming too much

I am praying that we don't have to wait half a season for new content

They are definitely not doing that. What makes you think they would? Season 2 is the Red Light District arc.

It’s already been confirmed that they’re going to cover mugen train arc in season two. I can’t remember the details, but it’ll be over 4 or 5 episodes, I think.

Well, technically, if the movie exists, then it will always be in movie form. I think the article said that some pre airing or smth like that was going to go through everything again, idk, I forgot.

Don’t worry about it. I doubt they’d put it in season 2 because it would undermine the reason of making it a movie. As stated by a previous comment it probably only be the last few chapters of the train arc

I very much doubt they’d do the whole arc again. Wouldn’t make any sense. They haven’t even said anything about it either yet they’ve already released a trailer for Red Light District.

It’s never been confirmed. Rumors said by outside sources aren’t confirmation.

Anyway, I think there is literally 0 possibility of them redoing the mugen train arc in Season 2. They’re literally airing all of Season 1 in 5 parts each week this month and finishing September 25th with the mugen train movie. All of this being broadcasted on TV in Japan. It would make no sense to air the movie and then next week start the series with a retelling of the movie. At most, there will be a short recap and then continue on with the story.

They are still rumours so take it with a grain of salt.
I think one or two ep will be a glimpse of recap episode like how Mha does after season.
Plus there is still some content of mugen train arc left which could fill in one or two episodes.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

Not really, since the Mugen Train episodes technically won't be considered part of Season 2, which would have started airing in December regardless of the former's re-adaptation.

Oh okay right. I thought it was taking up episodes from season 2 but I must have misunderstood.
