For all the pre season talk about this anime and the introduction of the new dragon, Ilulu has really taken a bit of a backseat this season, right after her short mini arc that didn't even last that long. I thought she was going to be one of the main driving points and characters this season, though apparently not. Yeah, there's a few short cameos with her every now and then, but it's just not long enough IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I love all the characters in Maid Dragon, but I wish she was seen a little bit more frequently.

You can only hear the sound of Ilulu but the appearances doesn't seem to occur in this ep 10, it all refers to Kanna going to New York and help Chloe to be her friend..

I think its a fine balance of all of the casts, if they focused too much on 1 character that'll feel really stale, Im glad they have 2 story per episode . But Kanna going to New York can get a movie of its own, maybe a series of Kanna just traveling.

Yes , i did hope that they gonna adapt the “Ilulu and love “ so much but meh , BTW i hope they gonna going to adept it soon in ss3 :3

As wonderful as she is as a character, I can't get enough of her. But she got almost the whole first half of the season, she is a side character and all the dragons deserve some spotlight

I believe I agree with you. It seemed like she would be the main character, but she has barely been seen after the first two episodes.

Rumor is they wanted more Ilulu episodes but they wasted too much ink coloring her chest in a previous episode so they changed course.

I think ilulu got enough screen time as compared with lucoa,fufnir and some other characters so as pretending she don't get enough time it's kind be wrong

I think that's enough, like the previous season, this anime balances screen time for all the characters in this anime.

She's not my favorite character of the show (yet), but I'm enjoying her arc and it's really fun to see her with Taketo. I hope we get, at least, one more scene with them before the season ends.

Ilulu and Taketo interaction are the funniest in the series. I wonder if Elma will found her own human companion.

I hope we get more Ilulu in the future.

But more importantly, I want season 3 after this

I was honestly surprised how little ilulu there is. Seems she has the spotlight for maybe half an episode in like 3 episodes, but there’s also been extra exposition on every other dragon. Lucoa had two of her own episodes, fafnir had an episode, elma had an episode, tohru had an episode, and kanna had an episode or two. I’m guessing the final two episodes will be more centered around Ilulu.
