They didn't put much effort in kashin koji's character even some characters from filler episodes looked better than him imo.They should've done better because he is a clone of jiraya,man I'm disappointed

Well...yes Amado did create Kojin from Jiraiya's cells but he never said that he created an exact copy of him. Like Kojin has Perfect Sage mode while Jiraiya didn't have.

Anyway Being a clone of someone doesn't mean that they'll look exactly the same, they just have a lot of similarities in their appearance. It's not just Koji, Kuu (ohnoki's clone) also doesn't look exacly like ohnoki

As for the needle jizoo, it's an artistic choice. Jiraiya's needle jizoo in the time travel arc was glowing too so it's definitely the same jutsu used by koji, it's just that the studio makes it glowing in boruto while in naruto it wasn't glowing
