I don't think many will go to watch it as
1- it's in Japanese.
2- the most obvious reason COVID
3- it will not be releasing in all theatres.
Really sad that most likely i myself won't be able to watch it in theatres..

It ain't confirmed to release in a lot of cities, it can be the same amount of theaters as when during Dragon Ball Broly , Tenki No Ko , Lupin the 3rd , MHA 1 & 2 , it might just be in selected threaters . Although we dont know for sure the list might come out soon enough , all thats confirmed is that it's coming out on 13th August .

Actually I have never seen a anime movie get released in theaters, I always watched them online. So am not quite sure what to say about this. But yea not many people will watch it cause, it's anime, it's japanease, it may not even be released everywhere. So I guess theaters will suffer a loss if they release anime movies. Of course there are people who will watch them but there are more who won't.

This movie is not the best one available in the market still better than 99% Bollywood trash. Don't worry, Anime is not a niche hobby in India anymore. You may be surprised how many young gen watch Anime today, I myself find it veryy surprising. It's just that They don't want to come out and embarrass themselves in front of their parents relatives bcoz they still believe it is cartoon and the TV serials they consuming is worth existing. But what do you think happen when this gen become parents..!!

Doesnt matter if you have watched it. If one even care a little about Anime being legally available here and wants to support Anime industries and for the love of anime, you will go to theatre and watch the anime.

If u don't then don't even think about complaining why there are no anime films in India and why it got released so late and why Indian theatres only prefer those shitty bollywood films.

you forgoted about Indian animation I guess there are still some good Bollywood movies releasing ( most are still trash) but I didn't watched any indian tv serial which I can say is good and indian cartoons are senseless but reasonable because almost 100% audience are 5 year old childerns
