Storywise it's Tokyo Revengers by far. But for the animation, it's Erased (The animation of Tokyo Revengers is so-so, and they censored it in the west)

What makes the manga better? The animation in the anime is fine rn. I see a lot of people talk about the animation being bad but there are no scene that requires a special animation yet so if there are other factors rather than animation which make the manga better, let me know

I found the first episode boring, escalated very fast, and didn't quite understand the concept of how he travelled between time lines, the explanation to that was very improper in the first ep

I read the manga, so I'll admit I'm a bit biased. I just find the mouvments of the animation a bit stiff, and the censorship of the manji is annoying me to no end (but to be fair, I did find a site yesterday where they don't censor the manji). But, again, I might be judgy because I'm a manga reader
