Why doesn't Nezuko take off her muzzle and come out of the box more often?

She can resist human blood. Can she still talk? Her hands are free, so she could probably take off the muzzle herself. Why doesn't she?

She has to stay out of sunlight of course, but she can kick heads off like soccer balls. I want to see more of that.

EDIT: Thanks for the replies, everyone! So basically...

She might not be able to control her appetite for human blood, so it's safer to wear the muzzle, and I'd forgotten she needed SO much rest because she doesn't drink it. And she probably can't talk (or write to communicate) because she's become more like a child after being turned into a demon.

Due to demonification, she currently has the mind of a child. Which is why she can’t speak or act her age

My theory is that it take a lot of energy to be a demon, and their specific diet, is another consequence to power,
Since nezuko doesn’t abide by the dietary rules, she can’t move around for longer periods of time,
Again just a theory

She doesn't take out that thing from her mouth so that she doesn't accidentally get human blood in her mouth I guess. Also she can resist human blood, but only to a certain extent.

She doesn't come out of the box because she sleeps all the time in the box to make up for not eating human flesh. Remember she had to sleep for 6 months or so non stop once?
She only comes out when absolutely necessary bcoz her main goal is to stay alive until she is able to turn back to human

She needs to restrict herself as much as possible I mean she was only able to start fighting after 2 whole years of sleeping and the more she loses blood the more she has to sleep and because of the transformation she got the mind of child so she can’t speak or act her age and her human blood resistance isn't permanent so yeah it will be explored more later on in case you haven’t read the manga

She’s gonna do it in season 2 she can’t do it because she goes like crazy when she does it and can’t control herself much.

It’s explained that she has to sleep for long periods to regain the strength she doesn’t gain from eating humans. The muzzle question means manga spoilys but it’s mostly just a precautionary measure.

She’s allergic to sunlight for the time being, and she doesn’t take her muzzle off because she’s been kinda hypnotized so she doesn’t really think for herself.

she can resist human blood because she produces her own nutrients while sleeping instead of taking other humans blood

She can't really talk I'm pretty sure. also she's sort of like puck from re:zero where he needs to rest a lot after battle and just normally anyways
