| I can't really rank my favorites but here they are- Mikasa Nanaba Sasha Petra Levi and Armin Reiner Don't ask why. I just like his character even though he is the worst son ever. Grisha and Carla Jaegar Hanje Zoe I like Eren too I guess. |

That was including anime only. I haven't read the manga yet. Hopefully he isn't a shit character whenever he gets animated. |

| 1 - Mikasa (Still the most 3-dimensional female main in a Shonen in my limited experience) 2 - Hanji (For great science and nerdery!) 3 - Levi (Because every great series should have a nihilist who just happens to be the biggest badass) After that it's runners up: 4 - Bertholt 5 - Ymir 6 - Annie After that, I really don't think anyone else ever grabbed my attention. Certainly not Eren, who is simply a walking plot device called rage. |

| I'll try not including manga characters (2 would make it in here) but this IS with manga knowledge. 1. Historia 2. Hanji 3. Levi 4. Armin 5. Annie 6. Erwin 7. Eren 8. Jean 9. Ymir 10. Sasha People may dislike the Uprising arc, but honestly, it's one of my favorites. Character development was all over that arc, and it made the following arc that much more intense. And it's the main reason Historia's my absolute favorite character of the series. Can't wait for it to get animated, hopefully sooner rather than later |

As much as I adore this series, I can't help but see her as one of the more one-dimensional characters, especially in comparison to characters like Armin or Reiner. Oh sorry, I think you missed the joke I was making... in shonen, all male characters have a much higher chance of having three dimensions. Armin and Reiner are great examples. Female characters tend to be either objects of affection (Historia), badass amazon warriors (Mikasa), plot devices (Ymir), or comic relief (Sasha). In AoT, the only female character who doesn't have a single pathos would maybe be Annie? I just don't know enough about her backstory yet to be able to make that distinction. But yeah, Mikasa is about as 3D as any woman I've ever seen portrayed in a shonen, which is to say not at all. I could list them all here, but there's not much point. |

| my list has been changing a lot since i started reading the manga chapters monthly, hm.. 1- Eren - asdfgdfg If i had to explain why it would be a lot of sentences and i'm lazy, but he's my favourite character ever. 2- Historia - If i had to explain it would be in a huge text too 3- Bertolt - He is the one from the RBA trio that i like the most because of what he says in certain moments (the painnn), also he's so sweet ;; 4- Annie - I cant really say for sure why i like her but i do like her a lot. 5- Levi - I like his personality a lot, he can be cold sometimes but it's because he's a logical type of person. And in reality he's a good person inside too. 6- Reiner - Great backstory and character development. I like everyone in RBA. 7- Armin - He's a clever cutie pie~ 8- Erwin - The way how he dedicated his life for a purpose and let everything else behind really got me, i respect him a lot. 9- Hanji - I like how she can be really loud and then serious in a matter of seconds, she's interesting i gotta say. 10- Ymir - Her backstory/life was pretty sad and i can relate to her a little. |
