| Looking for an anime with the main character is a soft guy or cute girl, and they get treated badly by everyone else through the show. I would like it if its for a reason thats out of their hands and the story should be focused on how they cope with it. If it involves abuse against a cute girl mc its even better. Please give me your recommendations. |

I'm sure there's many more out there but I consider these to be the cream of the crop. Seen all of those except for natsume, guess ill give that a try. |

The protag is very much a sweet soft girl who stands up for others. Her mother and others mistreat her, things improve for her, but she's treated unfairly at first. https://myanimelist.net/anime/2828/Ie_Naki_Ko https://myanimelist.net/anime/2559/Romeo_no_Aoi_Sora Nobody's Boy Remi and Romeo's Blue Skies are both older stories that focus on a pretty sweet kid getting sold to help their ailing families and then getting treated like shit and overcoming it. Nobody's Boy Remi is especially harsh, and probably delves into Remi's thoughts a bit more.
