| This show isn’t very dark, which makes sense for a kids show. Crime wise, there is murder involved (no shit Sherlock) but it doesn’t delve into any serious crimes like assault and rape. The antagonists, the Black Organization, doesn’t do anything that I would consider to be “dark”. They can be menacing and villainous as they would assassinate and even explode their targets, but otherwise they’re not too deplorable. |
| I've read the entirety of Monster. No, it is nowhere near as dark as that nor are there characters similar to Johan. There are some gruesome deaths in Conan like heads being chopped off, limbs being chopped off, etc. But nothing like rape/assault as Atetotion as mentioned. |
