| It varies from manga to manga. I've seen some where 4 chapters equals a volume, and others that have double the amount of chapters equaling a volume. From my experience, chapter length seems to play a factor. I wouldn't worry too much about updating the volume count for a finished publishing series, as you'll eventually complete it. Checking the manga's wiki, going to wikipedia, or baka manga-updates are some things that I usually do if I want to find out which chapters are in what volume. |
| depends on if the chapter is monthly or weekly, it usualy goes from 4 at least to ~11 at most from what ive seen. |
