| I know, this question has been asked quite a bit already, but as somebody who has only seen a few episodes of Seed, and it only being the remaster, I have to ask myself; why are there people who hate this version? |
| Really? Does anyone really hate this remastered version? Well, my only issue here is they removed some classics such as Akatsuki No Kuruma OST is removed on that Miriallia, Dearka, and Flay's scene. Also, I don't like the new ED but that's just a complete personal opinion. The rest, it's all good. All new contents, but not that much, from Special Edition are here. And of course the high quality Gundams, no more Athrun almost being bald, etc. Although there are some still shitty facial designs of some characters on random episodes that it seems they didn't bother to fix. |

| I don't appreciate how they've cut out the top and bottom of every frame, in order to manufacture a 16:9 aspect ratio without putting in real work. Otherwise no complaints, but that one is enough to justify choosing the original over a remaster for me. Edit: didn't realize this was an old thread. How does the story play out? That's my main concern. Zeta was cool but I found the storytelling to be too messy, with the political stuff being very dense and dry, and plot points popping up randomly and then disappearing for episodes at a time. My favorite part was the Hong Kong arc because it actually felt focused. How does the way the story unfolds in SEED (or any of the newer shows) compare? |
