| What was your favorite Monster moment? (Beware there be spoilers in this thread...) Mine? The confrontation in the burning library between Nina/Johan/Tenma. I was on total pins and needles. :3 Also, it really summed up the relations of the characters so well... Although, I should mention Grimmer has a few episodes that come very close as well as some parts of the Eva/Martin episodes... So what about you? ^^ Also, I want to invite any Monster fan to Fanfiction Guild, which was started by a good friend of mine. I'd love to see Monster ficlets there. :D |

| Slight thread revival. (It's a shame Monster isn't too popular around here.) Anyway, my current favorite would have to be Tenma's first confrontation with Johan, where he explains the mystery behind the hospital deaths. Quite a powerful moment. I kept hoping Tenma would snap out of it and jump on his back as he was leaving. :P I'm only on episode 22, so that's all I have for now. I'll be sure to post more as I continue the series. |

| The burning library was IMO the best, but I also loved Johan and Tenma's final standoff where they stared each other in the eyes and the world around them changed. |

| I'm currently on episode 44, and I would also have to say that the burning library scene was one of my favorites. But so far, my all-time favorite would have to be the heartwarming moment between Schubert and his son Karl at the end of episode 27. Very touching...and to think that it was all Johan's doing. Now then, about episode 44. I can't tell you how much I didn't expect that ending. I mean— I just— ...really didn't see it coming. I was, of course, extremely relieved to see that Nina wasn't like Johan. But really, now. I didn't know males could have such slim and delicately proportioned figures. o_O And poor detective Suk was nearly scarred for life when he tried to kiss her. Or him, rather. *shakes head and shivers* Makes me shiver just thinking about it. |
| To me it was when Johann is talking to Nina at that abandoned house. He's standing on the roof and we can hardly see him and she's pointing the gun at him. Really powerful. That and when we discover that it was Nina who witnessed the horrors at Rose Mansion but it was Johann who ended up being pyschotic. |

| I have several - the library confrontation, Tenma falsely confessing in order to break out of jail, Nina's confrontation with Johann at the ruin of the Red Rose Mansion, Anna's choice (so to speak), would be my top favorites, but there are many more. |
| There is a lot but I think I love ep 44 when Johan takes off his wig , I was shock ' Damn that was Johan ' I love the last apearence of Grimmer |
| "Killing people is easy, you just have to forget the taste of sugar." Not necessarily the absolute top moment of the series per se, but that scene left me great impression years back. And still does, obviously. |

Let's see...my other favorite moments were the first confrontation about the hospital deaths (You talk too much Junkers. =D), the library scene, the cross dressing when he pulls the wig off (I was like OHSHI-!), and of course the scene where they were in the scenery of the doomsday on episode 73. Ooh and in episode 4 where Junkers discovered the guard dead. It gave me an eerie feeling because it's like you KNOW Johan's coming for him. Basically every moment with Johan being creepy or downright terrifying. |

| So many great moments. The burning library when tenma shoots Roberto I was like holy shit! The scene when Roberto is trying to kill the therapist was well intense. The scene when Johan talks the ex alcoholic into committing suicide. The nina wig removal was like omg. When tenma saves lunge even though lunge is trying to arrest him while injured. The magnificent steiner moments with grimmer. The bit when the devil's apprentice guy talks to Evas lover, so creepy and intense. The ending when Johan tells tenma about the mothers choice. Any scene with Anna/Nina as she is the ultimate waifu. The opening that I didn't skip even once. |

| I'm about to finish the show and I'm really glad I picked it up after putting it on hold twice. It really is a series that takes it's time to get addicting. Most of my favorite moments so far involve Grimmer (Probably my favorite character). His scenes with the last few moments with the former director of 511 Kinderheim and him talking Milosh out of suicide were so well executed. But my favorite scene so far is from the episode I just finished, episode 60. Watching Eva and Tenma talk in the diner over coffee is beautiful to watch. I kept wanting them to kiss or hug, but given how shit things have gotten, it made sense that they didn't. But that didn't distract Eva's fantastic character development and Tenma comforting her (In a stoic kind of way) after hearing about Martin's death. |
| Finished this show today and it had so many powerful, beautiful but also terrifying scenes. The library scene will probably remain my favorite but the last scene between Tenma and Johan, when the latter started asking Tenma in his head about if his Mom chose him over his sister or if she mistook him as her. That scene really creeped me out but in a good way... Also when he "talked" the alcoholic detective into death, just killing him like that without even physically harming him. That scene was on spot. And all the death scenes of major characters like Grimmer or Martin :/ |

| Just finished this show in three days and wow just wow... but without thinking of the obvious ones like the final scene with tenma & johan and the johan wig removal scene, i'd probably have to go with grimmers death scene when he says "the magnificent steiner... he probably.. became human again." |
