Slayer Magic (Fairy Tail)

While rewatching the Grand Magic Games, Sun Village and Tartaros arcs, I noticed that the only magic that can defeat (or has effect on) dragons is Dragon Slayer Magic, but demons and gods can be killed by other forms of magic instead of Devil Slayer Magic and God Slayer Magic. Examples: the God Ikusa-Tsunagi, who appeared in the Avatar arc, was killed with Natsu's Dragon Slayer Magic and the demon Kyôka, who appeared in the Tartaros arc, was killed with Erza's Sword Magic. It's possible that maybe only dragons aren't affected by any other magic except Dragon Slayer agic, but then in the Sun Village arc, while Gray and Doriate (who is also a demon) fight, Gray's Molder Magic doesn't have an effect on him. Only the Devil Slayer Magic actually hurts him. Any thoughts on this topic?

It was said during the Grand Magic Games arc that normal magic doesn't affect dragons but in the current manga arc Erza managed to harm a dragon, so I assume it's just a plothole.

why would you even rewatch a bad anime ?
