Over the past few years I've been tracking down anime that I first saw when I was a little kid. I've identified several of them, but I'm left with at least four unknowns. All I have to go on are hazy memories from maybe over two decades ago.
Below are descriptions for each of the four unknown anime, as best as I can recall them:
1. The protagonist was a young boy (maybe 10-13 years old) who met a tiny, male fairy (?). The boy was very rude to the fairy and the fairy slapped the boy's hand, effectively shrinking him to miniature size. The boy later encountered a giant, gray statue (resembling a British Army soldier from maybe the 18th or 19th century, wearing a tricorne hat) that had come to life. The giant was clearly hostile and was wearing a menacing expression. The episode ended with the giant reaching down for the helpless boy.
2. Featured anthropomorphic, bipedal canines and felines. The heroes were the former – they were pilots and wore shades and blue outfits. At some point the felines (one a stocky male and the other a slender female) were washed up on a beach and were turned into cyborgs and fitted with automatic weapons. After the female feline woke up, she spun her artificial head about a full 360 degrees as she wailed out her partner's name. There was also an episode where a giant, mutant plant takes over a city.
3. The heroes were a team of warriors wearing white, stylized bird suits. They were called “Falcons,” or something like that. The primary antagonist was a man cloaked in either black or dark purple, wearing a helmet with spikes attached on both sides (think of the straight horns on Frieza's first form). He served a kind of Sauron / Emperor Palpatine type of entity, who might've looked like a giant eye. It was always in some kind of large chamber that was colored gold and covered with spikes. Near the end of the series, the cloaked figure died, noting that he had lived for too long. Also, someone (maybe the protagonist's deceased father) appeared before the falcon team, surrounded by glowing light.
4. One of the primary antagonists was a woman with dark hair who usually held a fan (which probably doubled as a deadly weapon). She might've worn rabbit ears. Her right-hand man was an anthropomorphic/bipedal rabbit wearing a tuxedo. At one point, she handed her fan to her servant to use in his mission. |
