| Nodame Cantabile is exactly the right choice. Chiaki is an accomplished violinist and pianist but wants to make his mark as a conductor. Make sure you watch the two sequels set in Europe as well as the original series. That takes place in a college-level music conservatory. Chiaki's abilities as a prodigy don't really surprise anyone though. His father was a world-renowned violinist. |
