underdog & bullying anime/manga

I'm searching for a manga (or anime) where the MC is weak.. or is being bullied by some idiots or something.. but then he learns to fight and then beats the crap out of his bullies and gets really populair..

or something like that!

just like 'green boy'

-romance is allowed, but if harem shows up.. i'll stab a bitch.. srsly don't gime that harem crap..
-special powers are allowed too!
-mc must be male
-he needs to be bullied.. or just have an awful reputation or nobody likes him in general.
-he can look ugly.. but he needs to get handsome if he looks ugly..

Hajime no Ippo fits that description nicely, but only the earlier episodes.

Great Teacher Onizuka is all about bullying, but the MC isn't the one being bullied, he just helps those that are.

From what I've heard, the anime of Hajime no Ippo and the manga of Great Teacher Onizuka are the best versions.

you are right, but also wrong... the MC is not an underdog, he does bully, and gets bullied in the manga, but he is in no means an underdog.
