| It gets better (in my opinion anyway). The good parts will come a couple more episodes down the line. I think around episode 30 or a little after that. Not too sure. But basically when Shishio (one of the villains) and his group makes their appearance. Even then however, there's still gonna be a lot of talking throughout the anime... but the story itself does make up for it. |

| The Kyoto arc starts at episode 28. It's one continuous story from that point onwards until the episodes in the 60s. So it does pick up. There's many more fights to come. Definitely worth seeing it through to the end. |
