I've heard good words about Memrise. WaniKani is premium but it's really good.

I just have my old school dictionary.

Veronin made a post about learning it on his blog (I think).
Just click the link and scroll a bit until you reach a post called "my guide to learning japanese" or something like that.

Step 1: Google "How to learn Kanji
Step 2: Close the tab because it's really hard and most people in Japanese only know a little bit of Kanji and most people don't even read it.

open up a new tab and type www.google.com
step 1: Google "How to learn Hiragana"
step 2: Continue studying.

There's almost literally no point to learning Kanji, I'm surprised no one's pointed this out but Kanji is the old alphabet that used chinese characters, Hiragana and Katakana is what is used now (It's called Kana)

If you already know Japanese and want to learn Kanji for fun or because of some other reason but you're not going to be learning japanese the way it's written now.

The Joyo kanji weren't that hard to learn. I learned them in probably 3 months and passed the JLPT2 with it. I just used the "Kanji and Kana" book and looked for patterns in the kanji. There are radicals (basically symbols) that make up kanji which typically have a shared meaning. For example, if you look at the following kanji for "lake" (湖) and "ocean" (海), you can see that they have a shared symbol on the left side of the kanji which is a radical commonly associated with water. By stringing together meaning using these radicals and from other shared characters within kanji, you can learn kanji in groups relatively easily. I also liked how the book provided examples of words using the current kanji and also from previous kanji in the book, which helped to learn words and reinforce meaning.

To help recall them, I played a few games in Japanese that had JP text coupled with voice. As long as you can further reinforce the kanji with its meaning/pronunciation, it will help you to remember them.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Nearly all Japanese written language uses kanji. Without knowing how to read them, how are you expecting to understand the text?

You can buy lossless digital music from your favorite Japanese artists on https://ototoy.jp/.
The songs are all DRM-free and you can re-download your purchased albums as you wish.
Show your support to your favorite artist if you can!
ps. if you are looking for Japanese albums, you have to search it in Japanese (not romaji). Just copy and paste the name.

I take this into account, people don't I was under the impression that Kana was more used and some kanji was used when there were no other options.

"It was difficult"
"I don't want to learn them anymore"
"We can just use hiragana"

there's a difference between being able to recognize and read words written with kanji
and knowing how to actually write kanji by memorization.
the latter is not really needed most of the time.

This. Writing kanji is a separate skill. However, without being able to read kanji, you can't read Japanese. Just go on any random website and it will be packed with kanji. Let's go to the Kyoto Animation site and look at a random news topic entry.
『劇場版 響け!ユーフォニアム~北宇治高校吹奏楽部へようこそ~』公式サイト - 『響け!ユーフォラジオ~MCのいない音楽会~』劇場公開記念スペシャル配信...
That's 27 kanji. Ok let's click on it to go to the Hibike! Euphonium site and click on the "Introduction" link:

Anyone want to count the number of kanji? They're the complex-looking ones.

if you want to be evil, you could use that episode from Joshiraku, where the entire dialogue is in kanji (they used obscure kanji or kanji when it's usually written in kana)
forgot which episode it was though.

Haven't seen it. I don't think I'm Nihonese enough to be able to appreciate that show. But yeah, it comes down to a matter of practicality. Not all kanji are used equally, and the readings can be highly subjective when it comes to things like names. And that's of course why they have the Joyo kanji - the ones that are the most commonly used.

Simple, you don't because learning a language for the wrong reasons just takes up your time when you can take up a more useful language.
