| Soujiro He hears noises from the door and opens it. Hello? |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] Johnathan put on a smile as the headmaster opened his door. [b]"Headmaster! Hello! I am here to talk about the recent mission to the lighthouse." |
| Soujiro Maya Hitomi, one of my right hands. I wonder where the other ones are...and you must be Johnathan. Anyway, I heard about it in the news. Actually, I even had to talk to MCPD to let you guys off the hook on that stuff. Anyway, come in. He said, re-entering his office. Now, what do you wanna talk about? He said, sitting at his desk. |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] Johnathan stepped inside. [b]"The ring in question. I have it in my possession, however I am reluctant, given recent events, to hand the ring over to any particular party." |
| Soujiro Hmm. Well, I have an option: Destroy it or simply find a way to get rid of it. If it's too dangerous to pass it to someone, no one deserves it. Another thing is to give it to the older Akimoto. He could possibly be the best person to hand it to. 9Older) Akimoto He just laid on the couch, looking at the people there. |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] Johnathan let his hand slip into his pocket. [b]"You do not know what I went through in the past few hours just to hand this ring off to someone I don't know. Do you know of a volcano anywhere on the island? Or a bottomless fissure?" |
| (Old) Akimoto You shold really just throw it in the lake. It is bottomless I believe. |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] Johnathan shook his head. If it was a bottomless lake, it wouldn't be a lake anymore. [b]"I don't trust that the lake is truly bottomless." |
| (Old)Akimoto Then give it to me. I can see what it does and keep hold of it. He said, getting up. |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] Johnathan shook his head once more. "I think I will resort to extreme heat to destroy it. In fact I know just the person for it. Not saying I don't trust you, I just don't trust you. Besides, why should you get it anyways?" [b]Cloves Cloves moved up the steps silently. He had traced Akimoto all the way here. He didn't figure an unannounced arrival would matter much. As of right now, he was not in view of the room. |
| Soujiro He suddenly leans back in his chair. It seems we have a guest. Come on in. He said, knowing Cloves was there. |
| [b]Cloves[/b] He stepped into the office. Indeed, I am here headmaster Soujiro. The little laboratory surprise was not nice you know. We used to have a good working relationship before I died. But it is not you I am here to see." He turned to Akimoto. [b]"Aki.... why did you not seek me out and tell me that we were blown back to the past? We musn't linger here. If we do, we will set off chains of events that cannot be undone. Our presence has already done considerable damage, we need to leave now." |
| Akimoto He glared at him as he turned serious. Actually, if you notice close enough, we aren't in the exact same Ace High as before. It would appear we're actually in a different universe instead of just the past. Maybe Hearts wish came true and he rid the world of Wicked. He said, then turned to Johnathan. You should leave right now. |
| [b]Cloves[/b] Cloves shook his head. "That much was obvious idiot, and that is what I damn well mean. We are having a fucking lasting effect on the timeline itself. Wicked or no Wicked, the effect in itself is a horrid alteration. This is not what the god who gave us our power would want." He pointed at Soujiro. "That man right there was supposed to die in the wicked war. A whole man that was supposed to be dead, suddenly alive. And he is not the only one, their is thousands out there! There are so many things we aren't supposed to change but did. Hearts had no business fucking with time itself, and neither do we! Power rings or no power rings, we need to leave. Speaking of which, I do not need these." With that he pulled the two rings on his fingers off and deposited them in Johnathan's hand. [b]"Now that that is sorted, we need to leave before we have any more of an effect on this timeline." |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] Johnathan numbly took the two rings and deposited them in his pocket as well. It seemed as though the room was going to get messy, very, very soon. |
| (Older)Akimoto I...actually somewhat agree with you. These people, knowing of my existence, was a mistake to begin with, and I know this isn't our time at all...but where do we go from here? We have next to no power, getting back to our time, meaning we're stuck here. He asked. |
| [b]Cloves[/b] Cloves stared at him. [b]"We need to get as far from civilization as possible. It's the only way. Unless of course your into the whole joint suicide thing, but I have already died once, and I would prefer not to do so again." |
| (Older)Akimoto I...guess you're right. He said and made his way to the door. I'll let you decide where we go. |
| [b]Cloves[/b] He nodded, and spoke. [b]"I know a nice little island off the coast we can go to." |
| Soujiro All my administration will be sharing the cabin anyway. Really, I wish my wife was here for this... He said. (Older)Akimoto Fine. Let's go. |
