| I didn't really like the Tokyo Ghoul anime tbh. First few episodes were ok, but then it became a complete mess and on top of that, I thought the concept of ghouls was pretty unoriginal. I heard a lot people saying that the TG manga is supposed to be much better, so do you think I might like the manga, even though I didn't like the anime that much (I rated it a 5/10)? Are they that different? |

| Didn't read the entire manga yet but long story short: The anime skipped a lot of stuff. I'm up to the first 2 or 3 volumes and yes the manga so far is superior to the anime. |

| I watched the anime first and couldn't finish it, read the entire manga and now up to date with the sequel and Its amazing!! Much more detailed and makes you love the characters more, specially ken. You should definitely give it a try |

| When you read the manga you will be bound to say that Tokyo Ghoul anime is nothing but a mess. All the characters looks better in the manga. And there are so many amusing and interesting moments and scenes which are skipped in the anime. After watching the anime you will have a lot of questions in your mind. But in the manga everything is cleared. Those who have watched tokyo Ghoul anime should definitely read the manga. |
