Is the ending the same as in manga?

A simple question. I haven't watched neither read Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. I like the art style and the score is good, but seeing how the manga ended not long before the last episode of the show aired - I have worries that the good rating goes from the hype for the parts that were based on manga and if the ending was created by someone else - it all may be ruined in the end.

I don't want to be disappointed when the animation based on manga ends and someone else's continue starts, like I was with the first version of FMA. It's better not to watch the series at all if it's got an unfitting ending.

The time that passed between release of the last chapter of the manga and last episode release is not enough to produce an episode, but there's still a chance that author collaborated with animators and they got to know the ending before it was shown in manga.

So yeah. My question one more time - is the ending the same as in manga?
