| Ariel crawled on top of Tomoya, looking down at him and pouting. "I'm a manifestation of the gods. You should pay attention when a god speaks to you, and by extension you should pay attention to me!" Okay... maybe Ariel is a bit thirsty for attention... "Don't make me bring down my righteous justice!" Coming from her, it was possibly the cutest threat ever spoken. |
| The man went back to his lounging about on the railing, keeping an eye over his shoulder as he monitored the students. He smiled a little, though. They reminded him of himself, back in his Wildstar days. He took out his cigarette and let out a large smoke cloud. |

| Tomoya He blushed at first when she climbed on top of him, but once she started speaking that quickly changed. "Huh? Even if you are a avatar of the gods your still a girl, one who needs to realize where her hips are." He smirked and put his arm around her to prevent her escape. |

| Korven's expression changed to a look of minor concern watching the two. |

| "Gah!" Ariel had been caught, but not for long. After years of training she could easily break free of his hold, except it appears her legs had become weak. "W-what manner of sorcery is this? Why won't my legs move." She had lost her strength, resistance was futile. |
| Tomoya He smiled and decided to keep playing along "the moment you looked into my eyes your destiny was sealed, your mine forever and ever" he said trying to hold back some laughter. |

| Korven decided to leave the increasingly worrying scene to the outer fields. |

| ...looked into his eyes... Wait. Wasn't it the other way around? "Like I said..." She squirmed fruitlessly "I trust my own abilities over fate." It was no use, it was he who had entrapped her this time. "T-Tomoya..." Her heart beat increased. "Your breath stinks!" |
| Tomoya "Oh? It does? I aploidigze for that, would you be so kind as to lend me a breath mint, ill let you go if you do" he smiled |

| Well this was certainly a dilemma. "But I don't..I don't have any breath mints. I mean, we used to grow mint leaves in the village, but I never picked any up when I left." It would be really convenient if a breath mint just kinda fell from the sky... ... ... ... Well, she tried. "Does this mean..." |
| Tomoya "So you don't have one ehh?" He smirked and pulled her closer to him "well there is one other thing I could use.." He sentence trailed off there as he brushed some of her hair back behind her ear. |

| The way he was looking at her... His eyes were filled with desire. "It seems the gods favor you." Ariel leaned down and kissed Tomoya. She had just met him, and didn't know much about him, but she felt like kissing him, so she kissed him, and kissed him once more for good measures before breaking off. "Its rude to ask too much of a lady." A blush was hidden underneath Ariel's natural radiance. |
| Tomoya He kissed her back passionately before she broke away. "....so soft.." He mumbled as he touched his own lips. "My my but I only asked for a breath mint, you were the one who assumed a kiss" he smirked once more and sat up. "Will you like to be my friend? Ariel?" |

| The man was obviously astonished now. What did he... What just happened? Even I, the narrator, am somewhat confused. Scratch that. These kids are nothing like what were back in the day. He thought, tossing his cigarette down to the field below over the railing. He walked by the students, picking up the girl by her collar on his way by. "Hey, no PDAs in front of me, your majesty." He joked, walking away as he set her down. He opened the door to leave the rooftop, saying "I'll see you jokers in class." grumpily, before making his exit. |

| Ariel wasn't flustered. In her mind, she had no reason to be. Acting upon instinct was nothing to be ashamed of. She too reutned to a sitting position. "I would very much like that." She had gone back to carefully choosing polite phrases. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Tomoya-" Just then she was lifted up and carried away in a rather comical manner only to be put back down soon after. Ariel cast her eyes across the roof to Tomoya, looking positively confused. |

| She crawled back to Tomoya. "I'm new to this...culture, you see, so I'm trying extra hard not to offend anyone accidentally." Ariel brushed some dust off her uniform, and checked if her knife was still secure. It was. "I guess that sounds a bit silly, but people always have high expectations for me, and I want to be able to meet them." Godlike powers and high expections generally go hand in hand. |
| Tomoya "Certainly an admirable goal" he complimented "I'm certain if you stay true to yourself, you will be fine. That's the thing people hate the most, is a fake person, well mostly me." He chuckled and pat her head. |

| The Avatar gladly accepted the pet. "I never though of it like that... Okay. Understood! Next time someone talks to me, I'll definitely keep in mind what you said. I'll show the world! They'll say: 'That Ariel is a true person.' Just you wait!" That certainly sounds more like the real Ariel. Ambitious, determined, and ever so childish. |
| Tomoya He chuckled as she went on, but kept seeming to get more and more interested in her. Whether is was just that much fun teasing her, or just radiant personality. "So how are you going to do that?" He asked |

| Her blind ambition eventually led her into a wall. "That's...er...well..." She paused and looked upwards, then back down again. "To be determined." Although the response was uncertain, Ariel managed to make it work by supporting it with enough fiery confidence to burn away any doubts. |
| Tomoya He laughed and smiled "would you like some help?" He asked |

| "I was planning to work alone, but I wouldn't mind some help. Especially if the help is you. If you are offering yourself as help, then I want help." It may have taken one or two revisions, but she eventually said what she truly meant to say. Something along the lines of 'I want you' but less romantic, and more selfish. |
| Tomoya "I'd be happy to help you however I can, being around you shall be payment enough" he smiled thinking about all the laughs she could bring him. |

| What a relief. The only other form.of payment Ariel knew was medicinal herbs, and she had always been terrible at growing those. They never seemed to get enough sunlight. "Alright Tomoya! If you're part of the team, then I should probably tell you what the goal is. Basically, I want to learn all about this culture." she gestured to everything around her "And since you know lots, I'm counting on you to teach me all about it." Just thinking about all the knowledge Tomoya could provide fueled her smile. |
| Tomoya "Well here" he said holding out a psp. "Check this thing out, it will blow your mind" he turned it on and the display lit up. "Its a portable gaming console, more or less its entertainment, that's portable" he chuckled |

| Ariel snatched the foreign device and looked at it closely from all sides. It was lighter than she expected. "But how? Where is the picture coming from?" She was utterly perplexed! "It's making light, but there's no fire. I don't understand!" Even so, Ariel was unable to stop smiling. In this particular moment, she felt closer to the world then ever before, almost as if she could begin to grasp a greater truth that had always been out of reach. She toyed with the device while immersing herself deeply in a new culture. (I need to get some sleep @.@ You can leave Ariel to her own devices if you want to RP elsewhere with Tomoya. | "A self-own?" She looked away from the psp to address Tomoya's inquiry, then shook her head decisively. "I can write letters through." Ariel put two fingers in her mouth and whistled loudly. Moments later a messenger falcon flew from the clouds and landed on the rail. "Hak can carry letters really fast!" She went over to the bird taking a small scroll of paper from a capsule tied to his leg. "You just write the letter like this" 'Hello,' said the letter. It was then inserted back into the capsule, and Ariel whispered something to Hak. Suddenly, the falcon darted towards Tomoya and landed on his head. "Hehe! I think he likes you!" |
| Tomoya he was confused by the falcon landing on his head, and tried to get it off of him. "cell phones are amazing tho you can get in contact with people who are even across the world watch how fast this is." he said as he sent a text message to himself on the phone. "sent!" he said seconds before the phone's ringer went off. "and the distance between them doesnt matter it will always come, you should think about looking into it." he said |

| Hak flew off. "Awww. You scared him..." The phone did indeed seem useful, but Ariel was more inclined to use a form of communication where she could see the message send with her own two eyes. "I'll think about it." His self-own sounded again, but this time Tomoya's expression changed drastically. The look on his face was similar to the one Ariel had made when she was caught playing in the woods, past her bed time. "Everything okay, Tomoya?" |

| She disregarded his attitude change. If he said he was fine, he was probably fine. "Mhm. I heard they became obsolete once electricity was discovered. That's how your self-own works right?" Of course Ariel has seen lightning and such, but she just couldn't imaging stuffing lightning into a box, and having it so such amazing things. "I guess you can just think of me as old-fashioned." |

| She too looked over the rail. "If something is far away, it looks smaller, and if it's really far away, you can't see it at all." She pointed at a student walking at the base of the building, who looked to be the size of an ant. "But if things are really, really close to you, you won't be able to see them either." With her her right hand, Ariel covered her eyes to show what she meant. "I don't know if that's what you were asking though..." What if he wasn't asking that. Oh no... he might think Ariel is a fool! |

| (I though as much. Work gets in the way of everything. Anyways, if I'm that desperate to RP, I can just use my other character.) Talking about some old crush did seem a bit humiliating, but if it helped Tomoya cheer up, it was worth the sacrifice. "W-well his name was Hak..." That explains the bird. "...he would always show up at the village on the night of a full moon; all the kids would gather around and wait for him. We would light a big fire and he would tell us all about the places he visited. Mountains, and oceans, and deserts, but never cities. Hak always had a big bag of chocolates. That was the first time we encountered anything so sweet, and he would give us all a piece before he left." Ariel found herself smiling nostalgically. "He had a falcon too, a messenger falcon. When he became busier, he couldn't visit as often, so he sent his falcon to me with a letter attached, and I would write one back... And then...and then one day." Her voice became noticeable softer. "I wrote my letter and gave it to the falcon, but he wouldn't send it. He just stayed there and looked at me." Ariel quickly rubbed her eyes. "I never saw Hak after that, but his falcon always stayed with me." It was a difficult story to recall, but Ariel felt comfortable when she spoke. A sense of pride lit up her eyes. (Side note: Hak can also be derived from the word Hack, which refers to a technique used to train falcons. It is also pronounced similarly to "Hawk", and it's also the name of a character in the anime I'm watching. So Hak can be interpreted many, many ways. |
| Tomoya "Hmm I wonder why he would never go to cities, but so that's where the falcon came from. You can get chocolate almost anywhere now" he laughed "are you planning on looking for him after you finished going to school?" He asked looking back down at the courtyard. |
