Higurashi if you can forgive i think the first 2 episodes for not having any horror, it is the only anime that actually made me shake with fear at one point, and i've seen the mess of a plot that the corpse party ova's are. This anime has no zombies.

I would also recommend Gantz cause its just creepy and weird and gorey

Mirai Nikki sorta? sometimes i guess

and finally corpse princess
