hey, i watch several anime atm, most of which i notice the characthers names are said with "chan" or "kun" or "sun" after them, i just wondered if theres a reason different people have different ones after there names, oh yeah also, what does "onee-chan" mean?
Anime makes me smile!

Those are considered to be honorifics. Like terms of endearment at some level.
