I don't dislike NaruHina, though I do think fans tend to put Hinata on this ridiculous pedestal and grossly overestimate her importance. Hinata is a nice girl and she supports Naruto, fair enough, however, unlike Sakura, it took her quite a while to actually show that support. It wasn't until her confession that she ever made a move. Sakura was supporting Naruto loud, proud and openly long before that. Hinata is just too subdued in my opinion for someone like Naruto. I get the impression that she'd go along with every dumb idea Naruto came up with.

SasuSaku is just plain garbage and abusive. It diminishes Sakura to a doormat that Sasuke walks all over. He's cold and distant, and doesn't treat her with kindness; he's blunt, unapologetic and doesn't hesitate to demean her or put her down. This angsty happily-ever-after romance shippers like to delude themselves into believing will be canon is nothing but nonsensical fantasy. The only person Sasuke could end up with Karin. Because Karin is batshit crazy to the point Sasuke seems well-adjusted.

If you're referring to 693, I pity you. That was not a confession. It was a desperate, frustrated plea. Furthermore, it was the second occasion in recent times that Kakashi has implied Sakura is no longer pursuing Sasuke romantically. She cares for him, loves him even, but I believe she is moving on, and she should, because that change is long overdue.

Naruto has always known Sakura liked Sasuke, and he loved her all the same. Why would that stop him now when SasuSaku lies dead in the water where it belongs?

As for 691, Naruto couldn't very well say that Sakura was his when that wasn't the case. Like he said, he's "working on it." He still actually has to confess his love to her, and we know from his conversation with Sai in 457 that that won't happen until he does what again, oh right, until he keeps his promise.

Kishimoto likes to tease for cheap thrills and drama, but from time to time, he makes a serious effort. All hints and teases are one thing, but the parallels and symbolic and meaningful imagery aren't there by accident. He knows what he's doing, and he's pretty good at considering there so much people out there are like you and believe Hinata actually has any real relevance.

I don't necessarily mind the pairing of Naruto and Sakura. But like how Naruto see's Sasuke as a brother, Iruka as a father and Jiraiya as a grandfather, I feel like he see's Sakura as a sister now. Perhaps not, but I like the whole family thing Naruto has going on with how he views a lot of the people close to him. I'd honestly prefer more of that then any romance (and they can just leave the romance open). But eh shippers thread so probably not gonna get much for this =p
