The discussion so far from the other Thread: Finarien @Koko5: If you likes the Inuyasha naime I recommend you NOT to read the manga...After a while it gets extreamly boring, long and the story will kind of repeat itself from time to time. There's nothing else in it than shouts of names and Inuyasha running around to make Tessaiga stronger just to beat Naraku...and also he just can't ever make a choice between the two girls (which i my opinion should be easy..O.o). I also likes Inuyasha but let's just stick to the anime!:) K0K05 @ Finarien: Oh I see.. well the only reason I wanted to read the manga was because I wanted to know what happens after the last episode of the anime.. the anime left us with yet another cliffhanger *grrrr I'm getting really sick of those* but yea i was just wondering who he chooses in the end.. he's kinda acting like Shuurei *someone should smack some senses into him*, on one side you have a LIVING girl who loves you and on the other side you have a DEAD girl who loves you yet kinda despises you... so who the hell will you choose!!!.. personally I mean no offense to any Kikyo fans, I like her too.. but Inuyasha just needs to choose one of them already and Kikyo's practically dead! so just move on with your life.. Finarien Well I actually not really like Kikyou cause she was really mean to him after her resurerection (what a suprise being resurrected with only tha hateful feelings towards your love, but anyway). Alo if you wanna know I can tell you the end like in one sentence. xD But it's just really weird..I mean how Rumiko ended it. I would tell some things if I know how to make those cute spoiler icons here...xDD K0K05 oops I spelled Kikyou wrong lol.. anyways yea I would like to know but you know since Inuyasha is also a big time anime which every one has watched I'll make a separate thread for it.. so go there and write about Inuyasha ^_^.. btw for the spoilers it goes like this: ["t"spoiler] blah blah blah etc... whatever it is that you wanna write and then ["t"/spoiler].. btw i had to put the "t" in the spoiler brackets so it wont turn into a spoiler tab when i post this, but when you post it remove the " t ", I hope you get it lol :P |

| Ah InuYasha my first actual anime, that I knew was anime. I consider to be a classic, its one of those that you can watch, over and over again without getting tired of it .... well in my opinion. I liked how it had time traveling, and demons I'm a big fan of time traveling animes, along with anything with demons. Sesshomaru was my favorite right off it didn't matter that he had tiffs InuYasha , or that he was supposedly suppose to be a bad guy. But then again I'm a sucker for bad guys, so I'd have to say I like Naraku as well. I also enjoy the manga, I haven't finished it because this is one of the many manga's that I prefer to read in book form, rather than online. So needless to say, it'll probably be a while before I finish it. As for the movies the third movie was my favorite, I loved how it told the story of InuYasha's mom and dad, that's my main reason for liking plus Sessy was in there! Also I might add, that even though Kagome can be a bit annoying at times, I didn't totally dislike her but I still preferred Kagura to her. |

| @ Yoru_Hime: If you don't mind, you might wanna read the discussion we were having before lol.. ^_^ mines too.. it was the first ever anime i watched and Sesshoumaru was hot.. first when i saw the opening i thought he was Inuyasha's other form or something lol.. i guess i have a thing for bad guys too plus he was hot XD.. as for the females in the anime, their all just lost somewhere in my mind. i don't exactly have a favorite though i do like Kagome and Kikyou.. but for goodness Inuyasha needs to just choose one of them already and get over the other! |

| My favourite woman character is also Kagura! I absolutely loved her!I like characters who wants to be free from some kind of biding! I can forgive anything if the reason is to be free! I also loved Kouga! It was always a refreshment to see him in the story!:) And it usually made inuYasha jealous(how do I spell this word again?!O__O) which also added a good part for the story. And yes the manga is extreamly long, I never even dreamed that they will finish it ever, but they did and it was really BAD!! I just don't like it. I mean why do we have to wait this long for an ending like that??? I still think that it would be an extreamly good anime if they could finish it in like...40 episodes. @ Yoru_Hime: It's the same with me, InuYasha being my first anime that I know is an anime!XD And actually I still love it but I'll stick to my opinion, they could have finished earlier and gave us a good story without this much suffering to endure till the end. By the way it's the same with Ranma 1/2 I think. THe main idea was good but it became too long for me to keep me interested. @KOKO |

| @ Fina I can agree there, I didn't like the ending of InuYasha because it just left the story hanging and unfinished. I do so hope the manga, will at least have a ending that will finish the story. |

| It do has an ending which finishes the story but its not a really good one...I mean it is good, it is a kind of happy ending but still it felt bad for me to end it like that. |

| Both? What othr manga has a horrible ending? Well I don't actually know who he likes better. Cause every time he sees Kikyou he will go after her, but in the end he still stays with Kagome so you won't ever find out the answer for this question.:P |

| I read her manga "Ranma 1/2" before reading Inuyasha. I like Ranma 1/2 more than Inuyasha, but it was a nice one. Ranma 1/2 was actually first manga to read. (I'm off topic now...) Anyway, I just finished reading Inuyasha recently and was awesome. I like the manga ending more than anime ending. |

| well it's understandable since they didn't really finish the anime!:) So from that point of view at least the manga has a normal ending!:) I aéso read Ranma 1/2 and I also liked it, but it was really long just like Inuyasha and they were sometimes just not progressing anywhere at all!:P |

| I heard about it. THere was an article in a german anime magazin where they compared Love Hina and Mison Ikkoku together. Maybe I will read it later but after Ranma and Inuyasha I'm getting a bit tired of her art work. I hoped that it will improve a little but she still draws in the same old style!:) |

| Well yeah same here! I can't get accostumed to her art, but her stories are great. The only problem with it that she just can't draw really romantic scenes and hates drawing kiss scenes!XD She would rather make a joke out of it. |

| well, i was angry because the anime didnt have a real end... so i decided to read the last chapters of the manga. well, what can i say, i love inuyasha but the end was so predictable... anyway, i liked it:) there´s just one thing i like more in the anime: the art is better in the anime i guess... i was surprised because usually the manga always have a better art... |

| @ Sakura: lol it's ok, i guess as long as it has something to do with "Inuyasha" then it can be discussed in this thread ^_^ @ Orulyon: me too, i was like are you serious thats it, where's the real ending (at that time i didn't know about mangas) so i'm happy that theres a manga with an actual ending, but the way it all happened is a bit disappointing.. yea I also think the art is better in the anime.. in the manga Inuyasha (to me) looks like a kid instead of a manly guy (well he doesn't really look lik that in the anime also but whatev lol) i like Sesshoumaru more XD.. |

Also the fact that the anime has COLORS is a real big improvement compared to the manga in this case.:) Also in the anime the characters look is more human than in the manga...erm I mean soemtimes I had the feeling while reading the manga that Kagome is a bit grotesque.O.o |

| @ KOKO5: yeah, the manga has an end and i was glad for that, because Inuyasha was like a never ending story, lol, it was becoming repetitive. What pisses me off is that they made 4 movies and not even one was about the end! i mean, what´s the point of making 4 movies if isnt to show the end?! omg, Sesshoumarou looks like a kid with a kimono in the manga. I love Sesshoumaru in the anime, but in the manga he really resembles Inuyasha´s face. i dont like it... @ Finarien:to me its not really about the colors, i mean of course its better when we can see something animated and with a voice, but the manga design, the art is so...well, i share your opinion. Kagome looks weird in the manga, Sesshoumarou looks like Inuyasha, Inuyasha looks like a kid, and Kikyo looks like a doll. Weird...so i definetely like much more the art of the anime:D |

| Inuyasha was also one of my first animes. (Not THE first, that was Rurouni Kenshin, but close) I used to watch it on adult swim (here in the USA) and my friend and I would hide the vhs tapes we taped it on because we thought it was more 'adult' than the other shows our parents knew we were watching, XD. (Looking back, it wasn't all that 'adult' but for two 9-10 year olds it was, lol) My favorite characters were Sesshoumaru (as well) and Rin. (They're so cute together~) I always liked Kouga but my friend (who I watched the series with) hated him. I stopped watching the anime after a while (my friend and I grew apart and we no longer watched it together as well as the repetitive story arcs that never really went anywhere) but I've heard stories of the terrible ending of the anime. (As well as the manga ending, which I never bothered to read as it was like another Ranma 1/2 ending) Actually, they're going to make an anime of the last volumes of Inuyasha. I don't know if this is what sparked the whole inuyasha discussion or not, but I'd thought I'd mention it. InuYasha: Kanketsu-hen Slightly off topic, but Maison Ikkoku is hands down Takahashi's best work. It actually has an ending and the story itself is very sweet and addicting. Also slightly off topic, but this has more to do with Inuyasha. Adult Swim as an april fools joke 'altered' one of the episodes of Inuyasha. Very funny.Here |

| Well maybe cause she just had enough of inuyasha always seeing Kikyou in her so she gave up and dressed like her..That way maybe Inu will be able to accept her finally.:) |

| @ Fin & Orulyon: Oh this is very interesting you guys but may i also give an opinion, i think Orulyon is right because Kagome always did want Inu to see her for herself and not Kikyou. I didn't know about the ending but that is a bit messed up, shouldn't she be making him forget Kikyou instead of dressing up like her (which might hurt Inu's feelings) since she's not there anymore. Usually its either that the guy remains with his first love or he totally moves on with the new girl without looking back but in Inu's case, he's being a bit clueless. *opinion* |

| @ Orul I think it wasn't so much that she was dressing like Kikyo, but more so dressing like a priestess in general. The way the end is it makes it look like that Kagome decided to stay in the feudal era, so its only natural she'd want to dress for that time period. |

| The fact that its not really shown is puzzling to me as well. I would say maybe, because three years had past .... but then again fifty years or so had passed the first time around and he wasn't over her. So he's probably not totally over her, and the fact that no one will ever really know is what's so agitating. |

| True, but i just feel a bit bad for Kagome cuz he's not truly committed to her since he still thinks of Kikyou. I also understand him too, since she was his first love but she's dead now and all i can say is that he needs to get over it. Do you think the anime might clear this up for us? |
