Ace of the Diamond
| I know it's pretty much impossible to determine how many episodes this anime will have,but still I'm curious. Could someone who is reading this manga tell me how many chapters have been adapted so far and how many more remain and how often the manga is released. I would appreciate if you could tell me how many more aprox. episodes will be adapted from the remaining chapters(the ones released but not yet adapted duh). |
| Well... that depends... Diamond no Ace currently has 358 manga chapters published (39 volumes) and the last episode (15) adapted chapters from volume 6. I mean... In 15 anime episodes the studio adapted 6.5 manga volumes... that's about 1 volume every 2 episdes... If the studio decides to adapt the whole manga, I'm guessing the anime will be 78 episodes long. If they slow down the pace, probably 104. |

This is Madhouse X I.G Port we're talking about. Hunter x Hunter by Madhouse has already passed 100th episode mark and still going, not to mention it has a lot more action than Diamond no Ace. |
| if anything i think they might release episodes like kurokos basketball, 25 episodes a season rather then an on going episode count, like naruto. but yeah i can see this getting more then 50 episodes at the least |

| Well... Hajime no Ippo is also from Hadhouse and they adapt it in different seasons with a 25 episodes length. Major is 100+ episodes, yes, but they were aired in six 25-26 eps seasons, the first one in 2004 and the last one in 2010. I guess it depends on the success of the show and the pace of the manga. |

| Well the nationals just started and it took them 20 episodes. It should be around 50 episodes if not more. |
| If they do this anime by seasons then I see Madhouse and I.G have no choice but to end the first season after the Seidou vs Inajitsu. But that would be pretty bad ending It just seems a pretty bad idea to do this anime by seasons. It's very linked, I think it's impossible. |
