Seriously, not even Pokémon X could make me want to buy a 3DS, but this... Argh! It makes me want to emulate it. I mean, if you are a professor layton only fan you must not be thinking anything about that... But, if you are fan of phoenix wright, you will be willing SO MUCH to watch this, mainly because Wright will be animated and dubbed, yelling "OBJECTION!" on others. The trailer has an amazing objection at the very start! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpxEQIe5jdw Simply amazing. Any thoughts? |

I'll watch someone else play it so I don't have to wish I could pirate it or something. |

I'm not sure yet. I'm a PW fan but I never cared for the Layton games. But it's not as if the game has released in the US yet so there's still time for me to decide. And I'm still sad about the fact that PW5 is Downloadable Only. <_< |

I'm getting it cause of PW. I'm disappointed in the voices they used for PW Dual Destinies though, so I'm not excited about the voices. I however am a huge PW fan, so pretty much any game that comes out is a game I'll be getting. Tried one or two Layton games, didn't really enjoy them, I'll bear through it on this game. |

Bought and finished all phoenix wright games and only finished the first 2 Layton games. These two series are few of my favorites on the Nintendo systems. I will even buy the crossover. Dual Destinies even have animated cutscenes hope to see more in the crossover too since I'm a huge Phoenix Wright fan. |

I know what you're thinking, punk. You're thinking "did he fire six shots or only five?" Now to tell you the truth I forgot myself in all this excitement. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow you head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself a question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk? |

CAPCOM are a bunch of cheaters. How are Ace Attorney fans supposed not to buy a game where you can see PHOENIX WRIGHT YELLING "OBJECTION!" WITH VOICE AND ANIMATED? I am replaying the trailer infinitely. BTW Layton has a very good voice since hes games in the NDS, I wonder who is hes voice actor. Thrashinuva said: I'm getting it cause of PW. Hes voice was perfect. I think Maya had the perfect voice for her as well. It even makes me wonder why Wright was saying everytime at hes games that Maya scores 10/10 in the weird scale. She seems perfectly normal. Maybe I got used to her as I played all the games. |

Isn't this only being released in Japan? Or going to release it elsewhere now too? |

Just finished Dual Destinies (on to the DLC now) yesterday, voices were generally a hit or miss thing but the game was enough to keep me awake until 5am to finish. Definitely looking forward to the release for this one as well. |

I don't get why they are mixing Professor Layton with murder cases. A guy that knows how to calculate who ate the cake based on the testimony of three brothers is not exactly the kind of guy that knows who killed who. |

WHAAAAT I JUST GOT ON APOLLO JUSTICE (PHOENIX WRIGHT) WHY WHYYY WHY, WRIGHT? WHY DID WRIGHT BECAME A LOSER? It seems that "game" happens before the events of dual destinies or IDK, I am completely lost at the timeline. |

His cases in the game are really interesting and the most enjoyable among the 5 cases (I won't spoil it though). Too bad though that Dual Destinies won't have a retail version since it's only available for downloads. I also don't like Apollo very much but the ending of AJ is good. Hope you'll finish it to see it yourself. You'll also see Apollo again in Dual Destinies. |

Probably it is just my psychological because Wright became a loser and Maya, Pearls, Edgeworth, Von Karma and others are gone. The trials are so easy I don't even need to check a walkthrough (I had to do that at the last chapters of PW games). You can't present profiles, which made the investigations amazingly easy as well (I would usually get stuck in the investigations for forgetting to present a profile to someone). A cute, but underager-15-years-old girl follows me everywhere and helps with nothing other than flattering the people I speak with. Wright doesn't have a damn daughter, who the heck is she? If I know CAPCOM well, they are probably going to say "Phoenix adopted her when she as little". I even remember that Franziska was supposed to give Wright something. I don't even remember what was it, but I remember at the end of the happy ending of Justice for All she saying "Phoenix Wright, when we meet again, I'll give you this" or something like that. Seems like she forgot. Or maybe, CAPCOM fucked up everything. Yeah, CAPCOM's fault. RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR |

You'll be surprised. There will be also many characters from previous games who'll be in Dual Destinies. It's scary that you guessed that Trucy is the adopted daughter of Phoenix since you're right on the mark. If it's not for the plot of the series, I would advise you to skip Apollo Justice. My favorite of the series is Justice for All. One reason is that the cases are really good and another reason is Franziska. I think the item she kept is a calling card from a case, I'm not sure though. It was not made mention after that case also. Anyway, have you played Ace Attorney Investigations? It would be a good change of pace. Sorry for some spoilers though. I got intrigue seeing another PW fan and I can't help it. |
