Your sense of morality and action is bordering disturbing. For the sake of illustrating: 1. Kira kills 1000 people for the sake of "purging the world". 2. Higuchi kills 10 people so his business will gain profits. At least he has a better reason? Even implying that option Nr. 1 has a better reason is saying that the ends (action, such as killing) justify the means (in this case morality, the reason why they are doing it). There are no "good" means, not even a "better than the other" means - so if I had to choose one ends, I would take option Nr. 2. The ends do not justify the means, which is why I'm saying that your sense of morality and action is disturbing. |
