| I'm looking for something along the lines of The Girl Who Leaped Through Time, Wolf Children or 5 Centimeters Per Second. I want it to be a drama, slice-of-life (fantasy, sci-fi etc. is cool in small amounts; like in Wolf Children) but still be able to make you smile in parts. Romance would be good but not necessary. The main thing is that I want it to be powerful, I want to walk away from it thinking 'damn', Like I did with the three above. Any suggestions? |

| Howl's moving castle (this movie isn't a slice of life, but I absolutely loved it and think if you like some of those other movies you named you should try this.) Millennium Actress (another beautifully done movie) Princess and the pilot (this movie was nice) Tokyo godfathers (you want drama you got it with this movie! IT's a wonderful movie that makes you feel amazing after watching it) |
