| "Blood? Wait a minute what?" |
| Chi turned towards Ash. "Eh? Nii-sama... Umm.... Well.. You see.. I um.. Kinda got in a fight. And I got cut badly. So I came back and fell asleep on your bed. And I got blood all over them. So I went to Masaru and got new sheets..." Chi said to Ash. |

| "I'm fine. See. No more blood. My stitces didn't reopen. And all I need is some sleep. I didn't get much last night. And imma really tired." Chi said hugging him and yawning. |
| Ash sighed in relief. "Okay, you freaked me out. Go ahead and get some sleep now but be careful okay?" |
| Chi yawned and walked into Ash's room with the new sheets. She flopped down on the bed and snuggled into the sheets. She didn't notice the figure in the shadows. |

| Chi started to panic. Her eyes were wide and she thrashed around in the persons arms. Her screams were scilenced by Lufier. |
| Chi shook her head. She tired to bite his hand and elbow his stomach. |
| Masaru was patrolling around the base in response to Mu's little conflict with several other of his officers. After a while, he decided to check on Chi to make sure her injury was still fine. He would always deny it if asked but he actually got really worried about his officers and people he knew, especially since what happened to his mother. When he walked in and noticed she was gone he looked around and, after a few minutes, noticed signs of a slight struggle. "What the hell...?" He asked himself as he speedily walked out. "You." He asked a watchman. "Did you see anyone suspicious in the area?" "I thought I saw movement a bit ago, but then it vanished. I assumed it was the dead." The watchman responded. "Damn it." Masaru said frustrated. Who would take her? Mu? Would he waste his time going after a child like Chi? No, the watchmen have been focused on locating him again... if he appeared we'd know. Then who was it...? NEOH? No... They have no interest. Warband? They charge blindly, kidnapping is probably thought of as cowardly... Legion? Like NEOH they have little to no reason to attack us, let alone a little girl... The only one left is... His thoughts then ended. He let out an annoyed growl and headed for the surface. |

| "Hey, Masaru, problem?" Ash asked, seeing him walking away. |
| "Chi's gone." Masaru said not stopping. "I went to check on her in your room and she was gone, appeared to be signs of a struggle. I think the lapdogs of god took her." He tried to sound calm but was obviously angered. |

| "What? Well I'll go with you. I hate those Jesus freaks as much as you do." |
| "Not nearly as much. But you're welcome to accompany me." Masaru responded, still trying to be as calm as possible but anger still got through his voice. |

| Ash noticed this, but didn't say anything as he followed Masaru. |
| Ash carried a crying and shaking Chi to his bedroom and laid her down on the bed, hugging her. "It's okay, I've got you now, you're safe." |
| "He *hiccup* came outta now where *hiccup* and and took me away *hiccup* I'm dirty and useless. *hiccup*" Chi cried intO his shoulder. |
| "You're not dirty! How could you even say that?" |
| "I feel dirty. Like a slut!" Chi cried even harder. |
| "No. You are anything but." Ash looked Chi in the eyes. "You are a wonderful and beautiful young girl all right? The only one who's dirty is that devilish man who hides under the face of the lord. Now come on, why don't you have a shower okay?" |
| Chi got up and walked into the bathroom with her head down. She felt broken for the first time in her life. |
| "I'll get you some cloths okay?" Ash said, his voice breaking slightly. |
| Ash exited the room. "Leave her alone for now okay? She's really broken up." |
| Chi spent an hour in the shower scrubbing her self clean. When she was gone she saw clothes that Ash brought her Bauer quickly put them on and went back to Ash's room. From there she hid under the bed. |
| "Fine, what do you want to talk about?" |
| Masaru arrived back to the base. "Is Chi any better?" He asked. (And trent I told you. I had a derp moment, masaru didn't actually intend it for Trent.) |

| "To be perfectly honest I was really pissed at that disgusting creep and I was mostly focused on getting Chi out of there as fast as possible, so I didn't even see you." |
| "Oh, Masaru. Uh, she's shaken, but I told her to have a shower. She's in my room now, but I think she should be left alone." |
| "I don't think he managed to rape her, I stopped him just in time." Masaru sighed. "You're closer to her, so she'll rely on you the most. Keep me updated on how she's doing." |

| Chi curled herself in Masaru's and Ash's sheets while under the bed. |
| "We'll see. Just leave her alone right now, okay?" Ash said, going back into his room. "Chi?" He saw her curled up in his bed. "I'll be here for the rest of the night okay? You don't have to worry, I'm not going to leave you alone." |
| Chi looked up from under the bed. "Okay." She whispered. |
| "Wait for her to recover first. Not only does she deserve it but she doesn't have the capability to keep a conversation going in the state she's in." Masaru said, then left to find the way Lucifer sneaked in and closed it up. |

| Ash laid down beside her. "I'll be here. I know it's scary but you're safe now. I'll make sure of that." |
| Chi grabbed a handful of his shirt and clutched it tightly In her hand. "Promise?" She asked sticking up her pinky fimger. |
| Ash took it and said, "Promise.", kissing her on the forehead. |
| "Goodnight Ash-Nii." Chi said falling asleep. |
| "Night." Ash said, resting his head on the pillow beside her. |
