Did anyone thought that it looked kind of like a Jap. version of Batman?
I mean, there is even "Joker"... ._.
I mean just characters, >___> the history I don't think it match in any sort.

Even thought... Big O > Batman

Huh, never thought about the parallels between Big O and Batman. To me, Big O was a steampunk version of a Raymond Chandler novel, with the addition of giant robots and androids.

Norman is totally Roger's Alfred >:3

Well really it depends on who is writing Batman, for both comparison and quality with Big O

However The Big O shares many things in common with Bruce Timm's and Jim Lee's Batman styles. There is even a Hush in The Big O! (See Schwarzwald) Well although Schwarzald acts more like Frank Millar's view on The Dark Knight. I am finding it tough to place a Batman counterpart for Dorothy though.
Your simple world can be a fantastic place, you just have to know where to look.

Well, Sunrise Studios was a subcontractor for Warner Bros. for Batman: The Animated Series... so it's not really a huge surprise. What people should be saying is "Wow, the first theme music sounds an awful lot like Flash Gordon"

OH HELL NO YOU DIDN'T.

Big O is a gigantic confused scrap pile and in no way comparable to almost anything with an actual coherent storyline like Batman.

Batman TAS consisted of like 100 unrelated episodes man.

Anyway, OF COURSE Roger is Bruce. He's even got the fondness for black and the red-haired sidekick.
