| While I can't make banners right now (internet sux) I just wanted to point out that it seems the user 'ksyss' has abandoned the site so I erased his marriage info. This gets me thinking that we should search through the list for more people like this :/ I already did find a few that changed their name and never informed us -_- I went through the whole list and this is what I found. Changed Username? Abandoned?? Offline for at least 3 months After an hour I'm finally done -_- I think I'll take a break from my computer for a bit^^ |

| Here's my 2 cents on this: Delete clearly abandoned claims (i.e. took everything off profile like kyss). I would leave the people who haven't been online for now. If it gets to be in the range of 6-12 months I would consider the profile/claim to be abandoned. Maybe send a PM warning first in case that sends them an email notice. As for the changed user names.... Since it was never an "official" policy before, I think if would be fairest to find out their new names (I've done this before by searching the marriage thread by character name to find the original claim--it'll show the new username) and grandfather them in. To give everyone a chance to find out about the rule, why don't we say that we'll start deleting claims that don't "match up" after, oh....Sept. 1 or something? Anyway, just my take. I'm open to other suggestions. ^^ |

| I agree with those actually. I don't have a problem with the usernames since it's easy to figure out what their new ones are. I guess as long as we figure it out, it should be all good. I think the abandoned ones should deff be freed. And for the inactive ones, around a year might be a good waiting time as well. A PM warning is also good idea. But mm, I'm wondering what if someone wants a character that's already married to someone who's highly inactive? Should we switch the marriage to them or just wait for the time limit? |

| I agree. The wait should be well over a week. Honestly I think a couple of months at least is reasonable. We don't want to take away people's claims without giving them a fair chance to log on after all... |

| Yeah, it is too short. But September's coming so school's gonna start soon. Most people should be back by then. Anyway, if after a few [insert period of time] back online they don't have a [insert number] of posts more than they did, then we can take their claim down. Just a thought. |
