My recommendation are the following:

Aishiteruze Baby - much like Usagi Drop, this time an high schooler instead a 30's man.
Astarotte no Omocha! - good parent child relationship.
Tokyo Godfathers - read the synopsis.

Pls. update your MAList if you haven't yet, you are asking for an Anime similar to Usagi Drop but it's not on your watch list yet.

These plus Seirei no Moribito, to a certain extent (she takes on a mother/guardian role for the boy).
Kure-nai
Michiko to Hachin, though this is more of an action title.

@Ghostalker :humm, okay, i'm kinda lazy to do that XS
but yeah, i'll update

humm Aishiteruze Baby , is it lite stories????
i don't know why i like usagi drop, it is kinda boring (just lite story, no big conflict and no surprising ending like clannad), but i feel happy watching that anime
so, i'll try to download it

@Shiroikage, the reason I asked you to update your list is because of the option there that let you view the "shared animes". Basically it saves a lot of time in recommending anime, I can simple view, what 1. We share in common 2.Whats unique to you, and 3. What's unique to me. Obviously the most important among the three is 3. What's unique to me. I can easily pick up shows that you haven't seen yet from my list to recommend to you...and it avoids me recommending an anime to you have already seen.

PS: If that's your complete list then pls. never mind my paragraph above :)

El Cazador de la Bruja
Michiko to Hachin
Kure-nai

Seirei no Moribito

Tokyo Godfathers

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0

Besides the ones that have already been said, Sword of the Stranger is good too. It's an anime film though.

Gonna throw Witchblade out there. The anime is mainly action but the parent-child relations are still pretty central to the story.

Good call. However the child is the one that does the most of the looking after. Good show and well worth the watch time.

This may be a stretch, but...
Minami-ke

The eldest sister is pretty much the mother figure.
And I got that warm fuzzy feeling from watching that show.

AIR This has some of the deepest parent child relationships I have ever seen. It doesn't start out that way but the last 6/12 episodes is very much about it you must watch it!

Junkers Come Here is about the lack thereof.
None of the anime mentioned come close to the sincerity you'll see in that movie.

^ Only mention the anime you've watched a long time ago if you don't want to watch them again. You don't *have* to mention tings like storage- I only put the name and score unless I'm feeling particularly industrious.

I only put name and score full stop. Everything else just seems unnecessary. All anyone cares about is what you watched and what you liked out of that. Everything else is pointless information to others. So if you don't care about your list anyway, that's all you need to fill in.
