| Raphael walks onto the field. His breath steamed in front him from the cold. Behind him he left a trail of footsteps in the thin layer of snow, though there were no other footprints within sight. Clearly, he beat his foe here. He looks up at the steel-colored sky, trying to find the sun through the clouds, but finds himself unable to do so. Unable to tell the time any other way, he had to wonder whether he was early or late. Regardless, the outcome was the same; he had to wait. He hated waiting. |

| Raphael looks up at the movement in the corner of his eye. It was his opponent. "Jin, I take it?" he said. "I," he placed his arm in front of his body and bowed, "am Raphael." He raised up to a standing position once again. |
| *walk closer* what did you say? I didn't hear you |

| At least have the courtesy to listen, you heathen. Drawing his full length rapier, he thrust it in front of him, pointing it directly at his foe's throat. "I said, I am Raphael Drake, your opponent and your end." Spreading his feet apart into a combat stance and retracting his arm, he said "Now then, shall we begin?" |

| Raphael quickly places a barrier in front of him as soon as he sees Jin's gun. The barrier was an opaque white, and appeared instantly. It had no trouble blocking the bullet. He leaped up into the air, launching himself off of a new platform over top of the first. Dissipating both barriers, he now created a third to bounce off of to give him horizontal and downward velocity, towards Jin. He thrust his blade forward at his foe's chest as he landed, sliding a bit on the ground from the speed and angle of his descent. |

| Raphael quickly jumps upwards off of several steps he makes as he goes, out of the dust cloud. He felt something on his leg, but he wasn't sure what it was. It didn't cause any pain, so he guessed it was some kind of missed attack that brushed by him. Letting the steps fade, he bounces downward off another wall. He creates a platform midair above Jin, which he lands on, runs across, and springs off of the end, somersaulting and spinning to align himself for his next maneuver. Now on the other side of his target, he kicks off of another barrier, propelling him downward. Raphael makes a lightning quick slash as he lands, then immediately puts up a shield in front of him to block any more incoming attacks. |

| (lightning quick, meaning as quick as lightning, metaphorically, not actually lightning lol. Raphael can't use electricity or any other elements, all he has are his force fields.) |
| (*laugh* ok I get it) *shoot at the shild* now I know how to hit every part of you *he practice on aim at you) |

| (Practice your aim? What exactly does that mean?) After removing the lingering force field overhead, Raphael ran around the left side of his shield, bull-rushing Jin with a flurry of wild, haphazard swings. The light weight of his sword made it trivial to accelerate it to blurring speeds. |
| (it means he just shoot the shild and by that practice his aim so when the shild will be off he can shoot your character direct and exect) *bend his body so he can escape your attak and cross swords with you* |

| With their swords crossed, Raphael did something he rarely, if ever, did -- use two weapons at once. Applying force with his one hand, he used his other to reach down and grab the hilt of his dagger, twisting his wrist in order to draw it straight, as it was on the same side as the hand used to draw it. Spinning his body slightly to extend his reach, he stabbed at his opponent with this second blade. |
