| Well usually they all circle around the point that the mouse was sneaky and the cat hates the mouse because the mouse screws over the cat. I know one where there is a race across a river. Another where they just race and somehow the Sheep beat the Dog. >.> But regardless usually its a race, cat gets screwed over, and makes 13th place... or doesn't make it at all. Pig usually sleeps too late and makes it across 12th place. |

| There's one that goes like this: God was lonely and he was too scared of meeting people, until a cat came and stayed by his side, so he decided to send 12 invitations to other animals. So they partied all the time until one day, the cat collapsed, so God made a promise with the animals and that no matter if they died, they would reincarnate and meet again, and continue their banquet. So God made this beverage and gave a sip for the cat to drink, but it refused to, cause it said that everything had to end sometime. So the rat took the first sip, then the ox, and so on (: that's why they have that order in the zodiac and the cat is not included cause it refused to drink! |
| well, i know another one. when the buddha was about to seek enlightenment, 12 animals came to see him off. the 12 animals came in the order which we see in the zodiac. he gave them positions in the zodiac circle, thanking them for seeing him off. of course, the cat didn't come as it was not included in the zodiac. |

| Well...You are right solitude_autumn-san,but I heard that the rabbit and the cat are the same thing >.< . That's why the cat is not included in the chinese zodiac ^_^.Correct me if I'm wrong ^_^. Edit*:Well...Not the same thing as usual animals in the real life,just in the chinese zodiac,don't misunderstand ^^. |
