| They both definitely had mid midpoints, but more engaging beginnings and ends. It’s not unlikely or irregular for these to never pass the “advertisement anime” stage as most are done this way deliberately. If they don’t sell merch/game (profitably), then the only profit is the manga/LN, therefore no point to continue the cost of animating an adaptation, just do enough to reel them in to reading. @RealityChanges You’re the first person I’ve noticed with a piece of Owari no Seraph as a favorite, I made an interest stack for it (nice to have a list of the whole series), haven’t watched it yet though. |

| At least Towa no Yuugure has good animation throughout the series unlike Water Magician who just baited people with the OP. |
| I find it more annoying here, since the Water Magician at least is an adaptation, so you have the excuse of being bound by the plot to a degree, but this is an original, so you have complete control over story and pacing and it still turns out like this? |
