I enjoy watching anime but for some reason I just can't get myself to watch it that much anymore. I wait the whole day to get home to watch some but then I just end up opening up Youtube and binging that instead.

the hardest part is actually starting to watch an episode right? if you just put something on and make yourself watch at least one ep, it'll be easy to continue from there, i think.

I also struggle with actively choosing to watch anime sometimes. Usually my brain categorizes anime as a "not a productive use of time" (though I would argue to myself that I do more unproductive things in lieu of watching anime)

Best advice that works for me is watching whatever is coming out this season. They release every week so you don't have to commit to completing a show very quickly, you just go one episode at a time. Plus, a new season began so there's not much to watch for new series to feel "caught up." This strategy built my interest in watching anime again recently.

Well it's also same for me, but I am more of a Manga/Manhwa/Manhua reader than shows

I just watch a few titles every week, most is a few episodes and some on 2x speed, but on a majority of the time it's one show a week?

I work full time so I am on the balancing between life and working

please don't force yourself to consume anime. you'll eventually get tired of it all. if you really want, try putting some anime you've seen on in the background. that may help you get back into the feel.
