Crunchyroll English Subs Issue

This is really weird, but using my app on either of TVs, I cannot get English Subs. I have English subs on my phone or tablet so I figured I would just cast to my TV, but as soon as I do that, they switch to German or Spanish and I can't change them to English. It's the strangest thing. Is this happening to anyone else? Did anyone figure out a fix. I tried using a VPN to switch region but no luck. This is one of my favorite animes and my most anticipated this season. I'll watch on my tablet if I must, but I would much rather watch it on my large TV with surround sound.

i think it's a crunchyroll issue that we have report their help center. i'm having the same problem. i checked my laptop and got english subs there, but not for my tv.

Yep. I had the same issue. When I reported it was a “known issue”. No timetable for correcting. Make sure to report to them. Maybe some pressure will get it done more than a day later.
